601.03.2025Ruthless Attitude8.0Great storyline going on with this with Benoit needing to fight alone in order to prove himself as a true Four Horseman. It was just a crazy match that literally goes all over the arena with probably the most memorable part being where they go into the toilets and Sullivan hits Benoit in the head with the door and also the tumble Benoit takes when they brawl back in the arena down the steps. It's a straight up relentless brawl thats really fun to watch and I loved the finish with Benoit landing a superplex off the table. The aftermath is great too because of the reaction Arn Anderson gets for attacking Sullivan with Benoit after the match.

1106.01.2025uselessdollthing4.0With that shot to the bathroom, gosh how ahead of its time was this match? Thats just really cool. But the rest of the match, well I didn't feel that much for it, but it was pretty solid. I do wish it was more hard hitting, blood would have really really helped this match.

1406.11.2024JacquesRougeauCanHaveMyWife7.0It wasn't the first Falls Count Anywhere Match in WCW, but it was the first time they actually left the building. The image of the fans being held back in the bathroom was incredible and it felt special, since they haven't done this before. Also the Superplex for the finish looked great and the ovation they got for it was huge.

2706.03.2024Burning V Sternness9.0This is one of the most important matches of the 90s in a lot of ways, as it legitimised the brawl all over the building style that ECW was using to great effect and normalised it to the point that the WWF could lift it in 1997 as part of the Attitude Era and ride it to great success with the likes of Stone Cold, Mick Foley, The Rock and Triple H. Had WCW not proved that it could actually work at this level first, then the WWF might have been more reticent to try it. Once it became clear that this style could work in a mainstream company though then the WWF quickly took it and made it their thing, which coupled with the fact they could go further than WCW with things like blood and big bumps made them instantly seem edgier and cooler to more casual fans who hadnt watched ECW and thus didnt know that theyd poached the concept. As a match by itself, this is still a great brawl, as both Sullivan and Benoit tried to keep the fighting feeling intense and hate filled, even though they were doing things like fighting in the toilets

3606.05.2023CMFunk00710.0This was the match that made me a huge fan of Chris Benoit. I had not been watching wrestling in a number of years and, for some reason, decided to rent this PPV at a Blockbuster, and was blown away by Benoit's intensity. I never was a fan of Kevin Sullivan, but he holds his own here and does his part to make this match great. This is probably the best match he ever had, but it was a nice stepping stone for Benoit to cement himself as a member of the Four Horsemen. Gets a 10 just for the aftermath with Arn Anderson.

4526.09.2022cactus9.0Kevin Sullivan looks and fights like a podgy, over-the-hill lucha guy. Think Black Terry. He would slap Benoit's chest hard, punch him square in the jaw and even gouge the eyes if things aren't going his way. He'd even brush off Benoit's chops and try to fight through the pain. This was about self-preservation. This was about hurting each other. For a guy not known for his brawling, Benoit did a fantastic job exchanging blows. They fight all around the arena. After fighting through the stands, they end up in the toilets. Sullivan slams the cubicle door onto Benoit's head multiple times. That must of hurt. Benoit gets the strength to fight back once Sullivan teases shoving his face into the urinal. Fans gather around them and Dusty Rhodes loses his shit in hilarious fashion when he spots a woman in the men's room. After they fight back down to ringside, Benoit pulls out a table and uses it as a platform to superplex Sullivan off to end the match. The fight isn't quite over yet, as Arn rushes to the ring. He then joins up with Benoit again as Sullivan's stable rushes out to save their leader. This was a compact brawl that had zero downtime and a hot crowd throughout. Most fans weren't familiar with hardcore wrestling yet and it created an exciting environment.

4931.05.2022Giantfan19806.0Crazy ass brawl as Sullivan and Benoit fight all over the building, even into the Men's bathroom and Dusty freaks out when a Woman pushes her way in amongst the crowd of marks who are cheering on in the background. Fun stuff.
5022.05.2022arrancar5.0A fine, competent brawl and nothing more. It was immediately a generic, messy arena brawl as both men fought all through the crowd and up into the stands. Benoit showed good intensity whether he was on offence or defence, but he didn't have much real material to work with in order to direct his performance towards something worthwhile, and Sullivan was just very mediocre all around, so he definitely didn't contribute anything meaningful. It was at least mildly entertaining to see the fight spill out into the men's bathroom, but then they got quite repetitive with the same attacks involving the bathroom doors and the walls over and over. The continued to fight down the stands back into the ring, at which point a table was introduced. The table spots were all very tame and not at all dangerous-looking, though Benoit's match-ending suplex off the table on top of the turnbuckle was pretty cool. This was different enough from the rest of the matches on the show to have some low level of charm, though it was mostly still very forgettable with only a handful of truly fun moments. **1/2

5329.12.2021Derek Joists9.0This was probably the best match Sullivan ever had, it was a crazy non-stop brawl that went all over the arena, including the toilets. The sight of security holding back the crowd as they wrestle there is something I don't think I've seen before. This was also one of the rare times that Dusty's commentary made perfect sense for a match, mainly because it was crazy nonsense! There was no wrestling to speak of, but it didn't matter as it was genuinely fun - credit needs to be given to the cameramen and director as previous brawls of this nature had been spoiled by not being able to see what was happening. Also credit to the wrestlers for pacing it extremely well.
5513.09.2021TigerDiver10.0What. A. Fucking. Brawl. This was everything I want from these two. Hard-hitting, brutal, non-stop action in front a volcanic crowd. I will never not enjoy the bathroom spot. So brilliantly entertaining in that portion. The ending kind of left me wanting to see more, but then that Arn Anderson turn happened and the place literally erupts! Extra point also for Dusty's commentary, which to say was his best work as a commentator would be an understatement. Best Benoit/Sullivan encounter ever. [****1/2]

7329.03.2018owenc5109.0super fun and exciting brawl. A real life feud between Benoit and Sullivan showing a real fight. They make good use of the falls count anywhere rule where they fight all over the arena even going to fight in the bathroom and making it back to the ring where it ends with a superplex off the top of a table. The crowd popped big when Benoit won the match. and even bigger afterwards when Arn Anderson came out and they beat down Sullivan.

7711.05.2017jackleone8.0Not even 10 minutes but everything is perfect. Great brawl, this is something that it's not easy to see every day. Hard knocks and professional brawling, a good use of the Falls Count Anywhere match. The ending is a bit confusing, there wasn't any use for that table, but it's still a strong match that I recommend to see. ****

7928.01.2017Mizzle Assault Ant10.0Man, did I think this was fantastic. Both men working insanely hard, hitting some very stiff shots left and right, plus the crazy part of the match all around the arena, even into the bathroom where they do some brutal shots with various weapons in there. The finish looks crazy but in a good way. I totally dug this a ton, would watch again and recommend to anyone.

Was soll das?
8724.04.2016TrevPuroFan6.0Good brawl between Benoit and Sullivan. They took it everywhere, and the crowd was on their feet. You could feel the hate **3/4

9512.01.2014eldenaaaaa9.0Super stiff, intense brawl with the added innovation of relocating to the bathroom. ECW would and had to an extent crafted an entire main event scene around matches like this. By the time, WWF got around to it, the only way they could one-up this was to fight outside and have Road Dogg piledrive Al Snow in the snow and then they one-upped themselves by having Snow and Bob Holly street fight into the Mississippi River. WCW would later win the hardcore wars in a landslide by Meng throwing Brian Knobbs off a 30 foot balcony and thus killing him off from the promotion forever and holding an entire hardcore battle royal in a junkyard. ****
9704.08.2010DerHitman5.0Wirklich kein besonderes FCA Match, dass beste war der Komentar: "There is a lady in the men's bathroom, look at that there is a woman in the men's bathroom. " ;-).
