Andrade vs. Giovanni Vinci

[5.0] "[2.5*] Good match, a satisfactory one. I was expecting more time for it, but Vinci in a singles would just not pass 10 minutes, unfortunately. It was still good and Andrade showed a little bit more of this great move-set. I am looking forward to him climbing up the rankings."

[5.0] "Slightly disappointing match since we know what both these guys are capable of in the ring, had it been given more time and allowed Vinci to get more offence in it would've absolutely cooked, but because that didn't happen the match never got out of second gear. Regardless, overall good display given what they had to work with."

[4.0] "Match was just kind of there for me. Andrade is a good worker as is Vinci, but this match failed to connect with me. A little bit of good wrestling but just couldn't get into it. Not sure if it was only getting seven minutes or that Andrade has not readjusted to the WWE style."

[4.0] "This one was very disappointing to me, I don't know if it was the heel vs heel match or the fact that Andrade just feels out of place there in my opinion something was off. I think Andrades run in the other company just really soured him because despite the wins it feels like he has negative momentum."

[7.0] "Sneaky good booking to have Vinci face Andrade - the former is obviously going to eat a pinfall, but a loss won't hurt him and he was a great ring partner to the talented luchador. They made the most out of the time they were given."

[4.0] "This was okay, but suffered from the fact of who the obvious winner would be. It wasn't given much time to build anything, but it wasn't glaringly bad either. They have some chemistry, but was just a basic match to fill time and get over what they needed to get over."

[6.0] "For the time the fight lasts and what it was, I think it's pretty decent. One more win for Andrade, who although I don't know what they have in mind for him still maintains his wrestling style and I've always liked him. We'll see what happens with this, if anything happens of course."

[6.0] "Well, this had the potential to be a very solid TV-match but they chose to just make it just an elongated squash match with Vinci getting barely any offence. Still, it was quite good for the short time it was with good energetic moves from Andrade and nice selling from Vinci. 6/10."

[5.0] "[3.0*] Another very short match, the focus of this Raw was zero on the matches but on the segments. Andrade and Vinci are two very talented wrestlers, Andrade executes the moves very well, in a very clean way, Vinci's selling made it a cool match to watch. Andrade's new finisher is incredible, a variation of a Spinning DDT."

[5.0] "This was basically a showcase match for Andrade. It's easy to forget that he's actually in WWE because of how little he's featured. But he looked good here, essentially just playing the hits before beating Vinci with his new, pretty shitty looking finisher. Outside of a few very stiff chops from both Andrade and Gio, this was just broadly fine. **1/2"

[7.0] "Pretty Decent overall, it was given almost 5 minutes minus the advert time, but those 5 minutes were enough to elevate Andrade as a man on the upper-mid card status, sucks for Ivar though, since it would have been an all-timer with him since he specializes in shorter matches. Andrades new finisher is fucking cool though."

[6.0] "With a bit more of time and letting them going further this two could've delivered a TV banger like Ricochet vs JD was earlier in the show, but since they went too long with Punk's segment and the sole purpose of this match was keeping Andrade's momentum alive (poor Giovanni. Dude deserves better than that), they weren't aiming for more than this. Nonetheless, great performance by both men with the little they had (***)"

[5.0] "Technically fine, but there just wasn't any heat for this live. Andrade has come in super cold from an average run in AEW, and it didn't help that his entrance got broken up by a commercial break where they stopped playing his music after a few seconds."
