[6.0] "[3.5*] Fenech Jr did the typical heel work, running away from Oku and always trying to take advantage or use tricks. The match had some frantic and fun sequences with good spots (which is Oku's specialty), despite these good moments it wasn't even close to being my favorite match of the night. Oku winning with submission in the end was a nice ending, good match."
[6.0] "I've seen matches with structure that was used here many times before, and good amount of them peaked much higher than this one did, imo because Fenech Jr. came across as an obstacle that Oku would inevitably overcome instead of being an actual threat that could ruin the party. Babyface/heel dynamic with a heel manager on the outside usually tends to be overbooked like there's no tomorrow, thankfully it wasn't the case here and Oku got a clean win via submission in the end."
[8.0] "Oku is really stepping up now as British Heavyweight Champion, and his performances are a joy to behold. Fenech played his part well, with good heel work and he can go in the ring as well. Some really good sequences in the build to the finish, with the exchanging of moves, and enjoyed Fenech trying to get assistance to reach the ropes only to be stopped by the ref and tap out."
