This was my first time watching a match featuring Ryouji Sai & his performance really dragged the match down. The match followed a simple formula of Daisuke being one step ahead of Ryouji all the way through - he dominated the first portions of the match & as usual in matches like this, Ryouji gets to make some comebacks. Well, all of his comebacks felt completely hollow w/ no fire or energy to them whatsoever. Daisuke was very good however selling those & working on top of Ryouji. A pretty good match w/ an awesome performance by Daisuke & a disappointing one by Ryouji. **3/4 |
