[8.0] "Yeah, these two did not fuck around in delivering a no-frills massacre. Takeda played the hits, including dueling scissors and gusset plates, and they made ferocious use of the stunt stack plunder before raising the crazy bar with the fiery finish ***3/4"
[10.0] "This was very good despite not the best Deathmatch in GCW history, it wasn't even the best of the show for me. Anyway they did a lot of nice stuff and I absolute loved the ending; finally someone used fire for real and it was freaking epic. I don't understand why this was such short but I'm actually not disappointed. ****3/4"
[9.0] "One of the best deathmatches I have ever watched. Crazy stuff. Takeda was bleeding profusely and Mance also took a lot of punishment, obviously, with a doors on fire spot. Warner's wrestling stuff was meh, so a deathmatch stipulation covered the limitations he had"
[9.0] "This may be the best deathmatch in GCW history. Mance Warner pulls out all the stops here and is juicing like crazy. Masashi Takeda was just as bloody and showed why he is the crazy Kid. Absolutely brutal affair with lots of glass and barbed wire and even FIRE. Brutal."
[8.0] "Such a cool match for the American fans, Mance goes all out in his GCW deathmatches and Takeda is a madman in any kind of situation. No massive delays in this match either, I felt like all the set-ups for these spots went by in the blink of an eye. One of the best matches from the weekend."
[10.0] "SGC is great and all but damn I have missed solo Mance in GCW. He's a great deathmatch wrestler and I really wish they'd utilize him more (they really should have pulled the trigger with him vs RSP.) Goes without saying that Takeda is the greatest to ever do it in this particular form of wrestling. He's so effortlessly smooth when he needs to be while simultaneously nailing the all important struggle in a match. I love these two and this match is one of my favorites I've seen live this year. Fire in the Showboat, no wonder they moved everyone away from the carousel room to that dump in that back."
