[6.0] "Hmmm maybe it's because I was expecting worse but I thought this was surprisingly good. Nothing great, but for the Hardyz this was one of their better showings of late. Isiah Kassidy is such a weird third for the Hardyz (yes I know his connection to Matt) but it works and he was entertaining."
[5.0] "I agree with some of the other comments that Billy Gunn can make Acclaimed matches feel much slower than usual, and this was certainly one of those occasions. This match was fine for what it was (i.e., a filler defense for a Trios team that just started their reign), but the only heat it seemed to generate was derived from nostalgia act antics. I think Kassidy does a great job enhancing the look/feel of ordinary offense (e.g., even DDTs look good because Kassidy is willing to spike himself in PAC-like fashion). And I actually thought the Hardys looked better than they have in a while (which might be attributed to the rest/recovery that's afforded to them when someone like Kassidy is part of their tag)."
[4.0] "I honestly feel Acclaimed are being hampered now by pairing up with Billy Gunn as more than a mentor . None of their last dozen matches feel heated or fresh, and Billy is fun as a mentor but very limited in ring now. Hardys are looking solid (comparative to some of their previous outings) and continue putting over younger talent, nothing but positive vibes to Jeff that he can make sobriety stick this time."
[6.0] "This was the best the Hardys have looked since Jeff came back. They were noticeably slower, and Jeff's Swanton looked sloppy, but it didn't detract form the match as much as usual. I think Brother Zay being there to provide some pace really helped. The Acclaimed were the same as always, although I did enjoy Daddy Ass' take on the Flair flop."
[6.0] "This was a lot of fun. Jeff Hardy looked the best he has since joining AEW, Isiah Kassidy is automatic entertainment, and the interactions between Billy Gunn and Matt Hardy were funny and interesting. The Acclaimed, meanwhile, have really come a long way in the ring. It is a lot of fun to see their growth play out before our eyes. A more than serviceable opener and a genuinely good match. I was invested throughout. 3 stars, 6 out of 10."
[4.0] "Didn't hold my attention and that's not a good sign. Pretty basic stuff and hard to get invested in when there is no real story that any of the guys have on the go. Isiah Kassidy is the best of the match and flops all over the place for the Acclaimed's offense. Best bump for fame-asser I've ever seen!"
[5.0] "Another lackluster defense from the Acclaimed. Shockingly, Kassidy is the bright spot here, and the Hardy brothers bring around some crowd investment to an otherwise cookie cutter match we've seen from the Acclaimed a dozen times. Did like the finisher though, that looks dope."
[6.0] "Turned into a good match, largely due to Kassidy. Jeff is looking better than he was a few months ago but with his track record its very risky to push him in any sort of drawing capacity. Matt Hardy and Billy Gunn look great for their age but dont need to be week-in/week-out performers in 2023 going into 2024."
[4.0] "Expected passing defense and a below average match. But we must pay tribute, because personally I expected a very bad fight, but it didnt turn out that bad, based on the level of the participants. Acclaimed's title run continues and he continues to be the worst with these titles."
[7.0] "If you ever wanted to see a suck it/delete off then this is the match for you. Despite the Hardys being in this, I enjoyed it plenty. Having the Hardys in a six man tag alongside a younger guy to bump for them on Rampage is absolutely the best use of them in 2023"
