[6.0] "Leave it to Wagner to get the crowd involved. Both Wagner and Anzai continued their strong tournaments thus far. While this wasnt Korakuen Hall, the crowd was still into Wagner, though its clear they dont know Anzai as he hit repeated jumping knees to no reaction. Still, as he is a rookie, his offense isnt where he shines (though his belly-to-belly and German suplexes were awesome); its his selling and his fire, and he showed that in spades here as he was put on the receiving end of punishment numerous times but rarely broke eye-contact with Wagner and was always willing to get up for a strike exchange. Wagner worked a little easier here and didnt break out the BME or mask spot, but this was still a good match, although possibly on the lower end for him, thats how good his tournament has been."

I liked a few things here, but all of them were shown by Wagner Jr. Maybe it felt like this because GHC National champion was very equal to his young opponent, and the rookie magic disappeared."

[4.0] "The rest of the wrestlers tried to sell Anzai at least somehow, someone coped well, someone not very well, Wagner, according to feelings, just fought with him as an equal opponent, adjusting and making some of his moves slower so that he had time to react, and in general it was hard to watch at and not very interesting. A match without storytelling and any personality from both (**)."

[7.0] "While Wagner's big matches don't click with me as well as they do with other vocal fans, this match was a good example to show that he is actually one of the most improved pro-wrestlers in the world of recent times with a style that makes him stand out. Anzai doesn't do anything special, but again it's about how and when he does it - he's just a naturally great underdog babyface."
