[5.0] "It's a shame this was so bad because it had some good writing/story telling/booking. It's nice to see logic in these types of matches. Lots of people working together to eliminate someone. Bill protecting Cage in the corner while he was "hurt". That's nice to see. Unfortunately the execution was SO bad. I hate when people are eliminated by flip over the ropes. It looks so bad almost every time no matter who it is. I kind of like how in some Japanese BR's everyone kind of waits for "moments". It just makes more sense having more people working together to eliminate others."
[6.0] "A good match for what it was as a way to shake things up in the tag division. As with most battle royals very active with some interesting twists within the match. Good showcase for some of the Big Men of AEW. Good showings for Big Bill, Brian Cage, The Blade and The Butcher."
[3.0] "What was interesting about this match? Nothing. It was obvious who would win right after the start. I don't remember any highlights from it. I just didn't want to watch the match, and it's not worth watching, really. I just would skimmed through it to avoid wasting my time."
[2.0] "It was terrible in every way. Not only is there a set of people from the absolute bottom of the team roster, although half are not even full-fledged teams, this horror was also put into the opening and for contending for titles. Just think about how any of these teams are below the level of those that the team champions are fighting now and have fought before. The match itself was also terrible, and there was botch on botch. The winners are also an absolutely stupid choice, because I remind you that Big Bill and Brian Cage were already in the blind eliminator tournament and flew out from Cole and Max, so whoever wins on Saturday, the new contenders will obviously be in a losing position. Absolutely unnecessary and meaningless event."
[5.0] "Tag Team Battle Royal was good but a little bit sloppy. Some of the eliminations looked bad. The Lethal faction and the Hardys story were continued. Crowd was massively behind Big Bill which was surprising to me. Cage and Bill winning was an interesting choice and will be interested to see where it goes with this pairing."
[5.0] "A more or less average battle Royale on a show which has had a lot of those in the past. There were a couple of impressive spots (and a couple of sloppy ones) but not a lot of throughline to hold it together apart from the crowd getting behind Big Bill."
[3.0] "This was probably the second worst battle royal AEW has done so far. Super disjointed, a lot of wrestlers looked quite bad (Satnam looked concussed through the entire match, the same with the Hardys though that's the usual) and the overall layout of the match was pretty bad. Big Bill was the only guy over and he rules."
[4.0] "Another AEW battle royal and another one that does little to distinguish itself from the rest other than the result as the Cage & Bill team has caught on a bit. A mess overall and fitting for a show like Rampage at this point. They have tag teams but so many are doing so little of overall consequence."
[6.0] "AEW sure do love doing battle royales recently and this was another decent outing. Satnam Singh was a highlight as he got to showcase his strength, even if he is still green af. Fans really got behind Big Bill which was great as he is organically coming into his own as of late and a match against FTR or a rematch with MJF/Cole will be a big chance for him to get even more over than he was in this one. Overall, AEW still need to improve on their battle royales, but it certainly had some good moments."
[4.0] "We had a battle royal last week on Rampage, and now this one for the tag team division, and a win for Big Bill and Brian Cage may possibly indicate Adam Cole and MJF winning the titles tonight on Collision. This was the usual battle royal fare, with not much to set it above average status."
[6.0] "This tag team is better than expected. Fair spots, a bit of storytelling, the chaoticity of this match too. By the way, this is something good regarding the tag team division, for future stuff and all, but for the booking of Rampage too. A bit of interest."
[6.0] "Couple of things I noticed or liked, most of which happened in the final third of the match: I like that Butcher and Blade have the continuous thread of being among the last in most every Battle Royal. Gives them something that is their own sort of specialty, even if it's a small thing. Like the elimination of Satnam via first Jeff Hardy and then Big Bill and Cage. Cage and Bill survive until the end by repeated teamwork. Chants for Big Bill - he's been pretty good as a monster since joining. Only thing I didn't like or that seemed weird was Luther and Cage clearly jawing with each other and just sort of hanging out as Cage is leisurely "choked" against the ropes for too long."
