[5.0] "Fun little tag match that was too short to really get going. Yuji Nagata was pretty awesome in this, popped huge when he did the possessed gimmick locking in the Fujiwara armbar. First time seeing any of the other guys in this match, Masakatsu Funaki impressed me with some sick strikes and his demeanor rules. Can't say Kono or Inoue did anything memorable here but nothing horrible either."
[6.0] "This one was a little bit of a surprise, and quite the fun tag match here. The enjoyment of this match truly comes from the interactions between Funaki and Nagata; which really made me want to see a singles match between the two. Semi-surprisingly, the team of Funaki and Kono came out with the win."
[6.0] "Mostly here to see Funaki mix it up with Nagata and those segments delivered but I kinda wish they couldve just had a singles match. 3.25 stars"
[4.0] "This is a boring useless unnecessary match in my opinion. An aging Nagata is just getting to be meh now and the other guys don't bring a whole lot This is worse than average for a new Japan undercard Tag and I wouldn't wanna see it again, two and a quarter stars"
[6.0] "Pretty good tag match, everything Nagata and Funaki do is great and the other two hold their own. It's not given enough time or importance to be anything more than good but the four guys deliver a solid match in the 7 minutes allotted. Good, stiff striking (Funaki gets a broken orbital bone from a corner knee), some nice suplexes and a cohesive, logical match around it. The post match sets up a singles match between Nagata and Funaki which I definitely want to see since they were the best part of this match and the work between them was great"
