[6.0] "The wrestling stuff just didn't hit like in their previous match, it's like they tried to pick some of the things that worked and repeat them but it doesn't work and felt more like fillering, once the interferences and overbooking begins it gets fun enough, mostly Billy Gunn hitting Satnam with the guitar and Aubrey thing with Sonjay. 6.1/10"

[6.0] "Most of the match was just regular wrestling, solid and very basic stuff with nothing great. But the final part with Satnam destroying everybody and Sonjay playing were amazing and very fun. Also the interaction between Jarret and Gunn were good. Jarret is doing very good in AEW since he arrived and the Acclaimed are doing pretty well as champions. But my rating can't high because most of the match (like I said) it's just basic tag team wrestling, the same match we saw on Dynamite a couple of days before but the ending saves everything. 6/10 - 3.25*/5*"

[8.0] "The first few minutes were just decent brawling but this became the best kind of clusterfuck. Every person involved in the match was an important moving part, and the pacing of it all was excellent. A 2023 crowd popped for a Billy Gunn-Jeff Jarrett staredown and I can't ignore an accomplishment like that. Bily & Satnam as massive strikers for their teams was great in general, the way they had Satnam sell the guitar managed to put both him AND the guitar shot over in a brilliant way. The ref bumping was also great stuff, the first one was a legit shock and the second made sense while setting up Dutt's fake ref spot. I think Aubrey's "I'm the TOUGH ref" shtick is a bit forced but she's over so maybe I'm wrong, and they needed SOMEBODY to put Dutt in his place in that moment. Just endless fun, this is the shit Jarrett should be doing if he wants to work in the current year. ***3/4"

It was entertaining as heck which reminded me of the TNA days of overbooked contests as many mentioned. The final act by Satnam & Sonjay was done greatly as well bringing more laugh from the non-wrestlers. I'm glad to see this rivalry meet its bookend and curious to see what's next for the tag champions. 4 out of 5 stars!"

They were here to destroy the hell out of each other and even if that was really too overbooked at some moments, that worked so well. A love letter to TNA's chaotic fights, but they did better than TNA itself. The sequences with Satnam taking the guitar spot and then Aubrey breaking Dutt's pencil's were pretty cool."

They had all manner of ridiculous ideas involving outside interference and ref spots. I might add that the crowd were shitting themselves for the entire thing."

[7.0] "This was the right kind of TNA-style overbooking. That stuff is a lot of fun under the right circumstances and it was here. It also managed to be funny in a natural way without overt comedy characters. Spots like Aubrey being unable to break a pencil with her hands and Sanjay and Aubrey sliding in face to face in matching ref shirts added a nice sense of comic relief without being distracting. So many moving parts, so much going on, even a Garth Marenghi reference from Excalibur. Fun match in what has turned into a fun feud."

Funny and relevant babyfaces like The Acclaimed against unbearable heels (Jarrett is incredible), what a treat! 9/10 (4* 1/2)."

Come into this willing to see some delightful nonsense and it'll deliver."

But sometimes that works a charm. Full of great drama this one and a molten crowd. Satnam, Sonjay, Billy & Aubrey Edwards all had great involvement. Loved it loved it loved it."

[7.0] "I felt like this nailed the over the top, over booked brawl. I still dont buy that Jarrett is every getting pinned and since that will never happen AEW needs to quit wasting near falls on him. Hopefully this is the end of your feud and it can end on a high a note as Jarrett will get away with allowing."

No, I don't wanna see this stuff regularly, but it really fit the overall tone of this feud. And if this is the end of it, then it was a good crazy send off. Loved Aubrey having a moment."

TheLegitBoss wrote on 07.01.2023:
[7.0] "Another good match between The Acclaimed and Jarrett & Lethal here, I didn't expect them to make a match as cool as the ones they had at the last Dynamite and yet they did it so kudos to them, once again a lot of action everywhere and a red hot crowd to go with them so I don't think we could have imagined a better match between these guys, already that the one they had three days ago was good. My only criticism is that the stipulation was useless except for the shenanigans that we would have had if it hadn't been for the stipulation, we could have expected better from a No Holds Barred but apart from that I have absolutely nothing negative to say. It was extremely entertaining, usually I don't like AEW's incessant overbooking at all but with them it just works so well because look at these crowd reactions. Everything was really what it was supposed to be and everyone played their part very well, only worth-watching match of this Battle Of The Belts."

[8.0] "This was one of the most overbooked matches I can remember in recent AEW, which is frankly what you'd expect from Jeff Jarrett. It was also extremely well done, with everything actually making sense, and being genuinely funny and entertaining. Not something I'd want to see every week, but with the combination of character work and in-ring skill from these guys they absolutely delivered."
