Takase was awesome with her chops on DASH & Kaho, i really liked that series of pinfalls between Takase & Kaho. Iwata & DASH were awesome together with the kicks and the elbow strikes. Everyone did something great and was hitting hard. Really good match. (***3/4) |

Not that I didn't expect a "good match" given the names, but for a match with no storyline involving a throwaway team (Chisako & Kobayashi), it was excellent. Iwata seems to be in her best form since returning from injury. Her movement and timing are sharp, and she is more versatile than ever before. Kickers have a tendency to be monotonous, and I think Iwata used to be that way, but lately she's been mixing it up nicely. Her 1-on-2 sequences are too cool, and she finds creative ways to chain her kicks and knee strikes. The other wrestlers were great as well. Kobayashi has become more flamboyant, more individualistic, and more prominent than before. While she's still working out some wrinkles of her new character, I've been enjoying her performances. **** |
