Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani vs. Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura

[6.0] "This match didn't click with me as anything great like I would've expected. Abe and Nomura are awesome wrestlers, but this match had the lamest puro structure in the world. Cold tags, lack of psychology, long strike exchanges late into the match when we've moved passed that already, etc. There was stiffness and solid moments of wrestling, but this was only okay. ***"

[4.0] "A terribly grating contest, the type of which endlessly irritates me, made worse by-the-fact that it's a title bout, in-which one team Dominates the other and yet loses (the titles! ) on a whim rollup. One member of the victorious squad worked 80% of the bout and, of-course, looked good but I really disliked this story."

[8.0] "My first Astronauts match so of course it is their title victory from last year. This was a very good, stiff match and showed Abe and Nomura were quite good as a tag team. ****"

[9.0] "A love letter to brutality. They kept throwing some very stiff strikes, kicks, elbows, knees... during 20+ minutes straight. Astronauts is a sick pairing as both Abe and Nomura are clinical wrestlers whereas Hashimoto and Kamitani haven't this strongest bond, but have this common goal : kick asses. The final stretch felt sick."

[8.0] "Despite these two teams having competed numerous times in recent months they brought a spirited pace to this that helped separate this from their past encounters. Perhaps due to this history their moves are smooth and stiff looking. An excellent tag team match and my match of the show."

[8.0] "First time seeing the Astronauts and they were fucking awesome, very fast and fluid tag wrestling with some awesome exchanges."

[10.0] "Pretty much everything I wanted from this match when I heard it announced. Just non stop action, absolutely frenetic. These guys beat the hell out of each other. I loved it."

[8.0] "Great tag team match between the Astronauts and Okami, good final moments where Abe was against Hashimoto and Kamitani alone"

[9.0] "Another killer title match on this show. Highlights include Nomura and Daichi absolutely kicking the shit out of each other, Kamitani tossing people around with ease and Abe's generally fantastic babyface work."

[8.0] "This was a rare example of a tag team match where all four wrestlers came out of a match looking better than they were coming in. It wasn't a carry job by Astronauts, all four wrestlers did a very good job here."

[8.0] "Real great hard-hitting match with a hot crowd despite restrictions. The ending stretch with Nomura saving Abe leading to the rollup finish was really nice - ****"

[8.0] "Where their recent matches felt stale and underwhelming, this felt more complete and bigger. They were given 20 minutes to go all out and they did really well. Great striking sequences, great mixing and matching of wrestlers and style. The crowd was hot in all but vocal noise. This was simply an enjoyable tag team match between these four guys once more. ***3/4"

Abe had a good performance with his selling and getting close nearfalls. Kamitani's shoulder tackles are amazing. Thought the match was quite long. Would've appreciated a sub 15 minute match. 7.50/10"
