[7.0] "A really solid title defense for Darby and a great showcase for Kassidy as a singles wrestler. I'd like to see Kassidy and Quen get more opportunities like this to show their stuff."
[7.0] "Kassidy's work is underestimated. He had quite a lot of offense against Guevara and felt credible against him. Good spot for spot bout where both man shined, like Sammy sold so well for Kassidy as for everybody."
[7.0] "Pretty good match here. Kassidy did a cool work as the challenger here by doing his usual high flying and working on Sammy's taped back trying to be advantageous. Sammy winning was predictable while Darby eyeing Sammy is really intriguing that might happen at Revolution. 3.25 out of 5 stars!"
[7.0] "Much better than I was expecting it to be, this was a very fun, back and forth match with lots of high flying. Of note was Guevara's good selling of his taped-up ribs, and Isiah Kassidy did a great move, it was like a slingblade into a backbreaker. I recommend if you are a fan of either man, or just want a good, shorter match."
[6.0] "Sammy continues to go from strength to strength. That double springboard sequence was just insanely athletic. Kassidy was also athletic but just lacks that x factor to be on the same level as Sammy. The match was good but just lacked the drama that Kassidy could legitimately win. ***1/4"
[7.0] "Kassidy proved his inadequacy in the eyes of Andrade and Matt, they helped him so much, but he still lost. The fight is certainly colorful, and beautiful jumps and combinations of punches. Straight beam style. Guevara with such a coveted title should always hope for cover."
[5.0] "I try not to get too hung up on this kind of thing but Sammy's selling of the ribs in this match was pretty bad. He came out taped up and still performed several kip-ups with no issue to the point that the commentators were making excuses for him. I liked the ladder match but selling was a huge issue in that match and it's still being no-sold. Usually I can overlook that stuff to some degree but this match wasn't engaging enough to make up for it. It felt that everything from Sammy's injuries to the result lacked consequence."
[5.0] "Cool match with some very nice spots and a good chemistry between Sammy Guevara and Isiah Kassidy. There's not much to say, just know that this was a cool match. ***1/4"
[6.0] "Well, the match is a 6.5 sort of. Not only satisfactory and a worth title defense for Sammy Guevara, nice the arrival of Darby (for the title, as well as for Andrade)."
[6.0] "Solid match, but Sammy still just doesn't look liek a champion, and Kassidy is a better wrestler overall so should probably have won here - the AHFO desperately needs a push. I'm also not sure why Sammy needs to carry two belts, it just adds to the ides that he should be a heel."
[7.0] "This was a pretty good sub 10 minute match. Both Private Party guys are good in singles competition and Sammy has been growing on me a bit, still think he's better as a heel though. ***1/2"
[6.0] "The truth is that I did not expect much to see the rival with whom he defended the title, since it was just a rivalry because it did not attract my attention, but both actually gave a good fight."
[6.0] "Fine first defense for Sammy Guevara, even with Andrade El Idolo distracting midway through. Looks like the AHFO/Darby Allin and Inner Circle dissolution storylines may be merging, which may be for the best as they're the two lamest stories in AEW at the moment."
