[8.0] "This was a very good match whenever it was The Motor City Machine Guns tangling with Devon. Slow, fat, overacting Bubba brought things down when he was involved and TNA referees during this period were very bad about just letting everybody stay in the ring at all times after the halfway point of a tag match, but those weren't big enough problems to totally tank a generally solid outing."

A real clash of generations that worked perfectly, with some great sequences but above all some breathtaking nearfalls, because my god, we couldn't breathe in front of this match. It was phenomenal, the crowd was hot and the stakes were high, as it was Team 3D's last match in TNA at the time. The match saved the show."

[8.0] "This was a very good match. This was supposed to be Team 3D's last match as a team, and for a few years it was. They decided that they wanted to win one more tag team championship before retiring as a team and the champions were the Motor City Machine Guns. The Machine Guns were in many ways the MVP's of 2010 for TNA. They almost always had very good to great matches and this one was no exception. Brother Ray did the blade job about halfway through the match to sell the drama. Another great moment was Chris Sabin kicking out of the 3D Death Drop, which commentary said that no one has ever kicked out of their finish. Team 3D did the job for the Machine Guns, and it was a great moment for the Machine Guns to beat them. Of course on Impact, Brother Ray would turn heel and attack Devon, call himself Bully Ray and had a very successful singles career. They wouldn't team up again till 2013 as a part of Ace's and Eights. ***3/4"

[8.0] "I love both teams because of the lustrous careers they had as two of the masterful tag teams in TNA's history and this match was a fitting "last rodeo" of Team 3D as a fully operational duo. The action felt different where MCMG worked their usual fast-paced hybrid action while 3D had an old-school methodical approach to nullify the offense. Surprisingly, both meshed well to an overwhelming bout of solid in-ring work & great play of emotions. Sabin kicking out of 3D's final shot is the highlight & one of the kick starters for Sabin as a successful wrestler of MCMG. The win by MCMG solidified their presence as a fantastic team carrying TNA on their backs and it was a successful mission of passing the torch by the 3D brothers. 4 out of 5 stars!"

That's how you sell the end of a career. The finish - involving Sabin kicking out of the previously heavily-protected 3D - is treated with the gravitas and shock that it absolutely deserves, and was the right way to end this."

[8.0] "A stellar tag match and a fantastic way for Team 3D's TNA careers to end. Them allowing Sabin to kick out of the 3D was a great way to put over a younger guy on their way out and produced one of the bigger pops I've heard in TNA."
