[6.0] "Both entered tonight's Main Event at 0-1; both big men need this victory. Very 'Ingovernable' of Hino to fight this M Event shirtless whereas he couldn't be bothered to remove it in his bout against Endo a few nights before. This was a fine slow-burn contest, never really exciting, with a story not too dissimilar to KH/Harashima from a few nights earlier. JA controlled the contest, really twisting YH's arm up. But somehow YH withstood the constant arm arsenal, hit a couple of tepid clotheslines and a sawwfft YH Bomb and scored the victory. I'm not feeling the current 8.2 rating here at-all but it's good-enough for 3 stars."
[7.0] "A matchup which really looked foward to, they couldn't hit my expectations completely but I was still satisfied at the end of the day. The first was also not that interesting to me, but the second half was pretty cool. Hino's offense, especially his chops looked great and I liked how he withstood Akiyama' knee strikes at one point. Furthermore, really cool that Hino won."
[10.0] "Wasn't sure what to expect here but I thought the result was fantastic. Genuinely asking if Hino is a top 5 guy in Japan right now, I think it's possible anyway. Akiyama has still got it, I really appreciated how instead of just a strike fest they added the extra layer of Akiyama busting up Hino's hand so he couldn't attack so easily, and Hino powering through to devastate Akiyama in the end."
[8.0] "I was expecting a hoss fight and they gave me one. Hino is a beast as Akiyama stills a big threat to not misestimate. It needed maybe a bit more flowing pace but that leaded to a thing where all moves were bombs in the head and the chest. Explosive contest, they managed to drive the crowd crazy."
[8.0] "Impressive main event performance by Hino. He is much more vulnerable and interesting against Akiyama, where he's the smaller guy than against the Junior Heavyweights of the roster. He couldn't slap his way through it as Akiyama can give as good as he gets alongside the technical skill that comes with it. Akiyama attacked the arm of Hino, forcing Hino into new ideas. Hino's selling was really good; better than I would've thought. He was very sympathetic and it made me want him to win. Akiyama put him over like a champ as well. Akiyama tends to lose in upset ways - in 3-5 minutes - that don't actually put the person over *as a star* but this was a better example of that. ***3/4"
[8.0] "This is actually a pretty rare match layout: it was deliberately paced, yet extremely technically sound, and ended in a bomb contest. There wasn't enough action in this one for Akiyama and Hino to tear the house down, but the crowd was into it. Every move was executed perfectly, although, to be fair, the moves themselves were pretty simple. ****"
[9.0] "This match started slow, but it was clear from the start that Hino was going to wrestle this seriously as he removed his shirt before the bell rang. This was smartly wrestled with Akiyama working the arm while Hino soldiering through the pain and going for the big power moves to win the match. This match had some stiff strikes and chops and the last few minutes of trading exploders was awesome. Both wrestlers looked really good in this match and it was easily the MOTN. 9/10"
[8.0] "This was really good. Started kinda boring but got good after Akiyama started working on the right arm of Hino. Akiyama's work was quite vicious and Hino sold the pain well. I liked the part where Akiyama wanted Hino to use his right arm for chops and Hino blasted him with a hellacious one. This was the most hard hitting match of the show. Hino wasn't as overconfident as he was against Akiyama in their AJPW match. 7.70/10"
[8.0] "Love me some Hino and I never say no to Akiyama. Great tournament match where the veteran went technical while Hino tried to just power through it all and eventually was successful. A great hoss can sell a limb and still get their stuff in, and that just what Yuji did in this. I loved that he stunned Jun with a clothesline from the off-hand long enough to get in lariats from the dominant (but weakened arm) once he was in his comfort zone. Solid clean finish too. ****"
[10.0] "That was incredible! One of the best matches I've ever seen from Hino and he was great all the time, Jun Akiyama was very brutal in his attack and the ending was interesting, Harashima and Akiyama losing two matches consecutively is very interesting thing, let's see what happen in the next shows.."
