[7.0] "Might be too strong to call this match a hidden gem as I think people recall this one a bit, it certainly can be discussed more than it is. FTR were not in the best rhythm at this time which is crazy to think about with how amazing their 2022 output is but yes they were not thought of as best tag team in the world at this point and some might even say they had it no more. The AEW run was a bit hit or miss with their match catalog at this point but matches like this were slowly rebuilding the FTR. FTR did solid work on Stallion throughout and it was just slowly building to the hot tag by Greene. Once Greene came in the faces ran wild and while it got clunky at times, I contribute it more to Greene and Rogers than FTR. FTR gave a lot to the unsigned ex-NXT developmental wrestlers. In fact I think they earned themselves regular spots for the C shows based off this performance but Rogers had stuff that came up and I understood why they moved off from Rofers and left Greene by himself unfortunately. This match is good but I will admit in saying you get the classic FTR experience but with some additional shine to the faces then you normally would get around this time, but this match feels like a turning point in the direction FTR would take off in a matter of a few months, revitalizing them as being one of the great tag teams in the world. ***1/4"

[7.0] "An AEW Dark classic, and more specifically the highlight of the C-Show's studio era. Quietly, this is the run that got FTR in rhythm, setting the stage for their magnificent 2022. This is very much them at their television best, following a classical outline until a hectic, wild finishing run. That particular portion feels comically out of place for this setting but otherwise, this is delightful studio graps. ***1/2"

[7.0] "I can't stress enough how much FTR can make out of a nothing match on a YT program like this. They gave the young guys just enough spotlight to not make themselves look bad, and kept it relatively competitive under the time being. An unusual quality match from Dark here. [***1/2]"

[8.0] "FTR can have a good to great match with any tag team, and they also have the aura of being "The Real Deal". They are also the least formulaic tag team, as they always use different spots, & different ways to finish matches, as Cash Wheeler used 2 moves that I have never seen him do before to win this match for FTR. Rating for this match: ***3/4"

[8.0] "Very good tag team match between FTR and two former 205 Live stars that we knew as August Grey and Curt Stallion during their short run in WWE, two very interesting prospects who were already excellent in the last few years in EVOLVE and who are now shining on the independent scene as well as in All Elite Wrestling. It's crazy to think that they were fired like dirt and that three months later they're facing one of the greatest teams in wrestling history in a ten-minute match in the hottest promotion right now, that's what we call a vengeance. And I loved the spirit of determination from Stallion & Rogers who took this opportunity to show their worth, they got a tremendous showing and I wouldn't be surprised to see them more regularly on Dark in the weeks to come. The match itself was just some great tag team action all around, especially the last few minutes with FTR picking the win before their match tonight."
