I think Yoshino, who looked amazing throughout the entire tournament, came out of this match looking great, both because of his spectacular moves and the way he carried Team Japan through the contest. I also really enjoyed the Guns, especially Alex Shelley, who was the last man standing. Alex Koslov also impressed me (his dive to the outside is definitely worth mentioning), as did Ultimo Guerrero. Unfortunately, I can't give this match five stars for two reasons: the first eliminations happened at too high a pace, and there were several unclear tapouts that confused the crowd. Still, I'd say this match perfectly embodies the meaning of Total Nonstop Action. |

The match didn't stop or slow down at all, everyone got involved and had the time to fight and show what they can do. Perfectly executed, that's really impressive considering we are talking about a match involving 12 people. Yeah, might have been a bit messy at times, especially during the eliminations, but the work was too damn impressive. |

I knew it would be interesting because of the guys in the match and its reputation, but it was still better than I expected. Even the guys who were eliminated early were great, Puma being one of them. And everyone did their job wonderfully, the action was terrific and so gripping, not to mention the hot crowd. Twenty-five minutes that went by so fast, watch it. |

What kept this from being a true classic is maybe lack of substance and a lack of mind-blowing spots. Masato Yoshino, Milano Collection AT, and the MCMG were the highlight wrestlers for sure. |

So wurde das Match für einen Opener etwas zu lang und war vorallem am Anfang total unübersichtlich. Die Schlussphase war allerings wirklich extrem geil und sehr spannend. |

Ich bin eigentlich kein Fan von Spotfesten, aber das Match war überragend gemacht und hatte auch noch eine ziemlich starke Schlussphase mit genau den richtigen 2 verbliebenen Teilnehmern. Alle Wrestler bekamen genug Zeit um ein bisschen was von ihrem Arsenal zu zeigen und es gab einige Movies in diesem Match, die ich bis dahn noch nicht gesehen hatte. All 12 men managed to be impressive and show their unique personality, but the standout of the contest was Masato Yoshino who lost both his teammates early in the contest, but soldiered on and showcased his inhuman speed and athletic prowess by surviving the duration of the match, exposing him to North America as the future of japanese wrestling. In the end, his amazing story ended at the end of a superb finishing stretch with the excellent Alex Shelley. This awe-inspiring contest was just short of a perfect X-Division Match. |
