[9.0] "I don't watch too much modern WWE these days but I'm a fan of all of these folks from other places, so I thought I'd give this a try and it was actually great fun. It was especially fun to see the former DJ Z still doing great work, I don't hear much about him but he was looking awesome, and MSK seems to be a perfect fit here."

[8.0] "Awesome opening match and MOTN as well . I've said it before and I will say it again the energy that the highly charismatic MSK bring to the ring is just amazing . This match had a well built foundation which then exploded into a beautiful high flying contest , very fast paced , high octane and action packed . It started off with MSK showing that they have a good grasp over their technical wrestling skills as they were equally matched in back and forth action against their opponents in the initial moments . There were a few hard hitting moments in forms of elbows and chops but the main portion was high flying maneuvers and it was a clash of different styles . Also , need to appreciate that MSK did not go for their main move set of high flying action very early into the match but waited for the right moment and utilized it properly and took complete advantage out of it . All around action with very minimal chunks or pieces of story telling , that being the clash of similar styles . The best spot was the trademark move of MSK to the outside , simply crazy and high risk . During the ending few minutes , there were a good number of close kick outs and near falls which incorporated more investment into the match and excited the viewer about the much awaited outcome and for the short time it ran comparatively is spectacular . Incredible pacing and momentum present there from the start to the end . Not a bland or boring moment in the match . Awesome wrestling content overall . ****"

[8.0] "This made me tired just watching it. The speed of all four is insane. MSK are really using this tournament to show how great they are and Wilde and Mendoza prove with performances like this they aren't just lackeys to Escobar they are definite contenders to the NXT Tag Titles."

[8.0] "Very great action in this match. I was completly sure that Legado del Fantasma will gonna win, but, expect the unexpected. They are putting a lot of trust in this MSK guys and they are a great addition for the tag team division. Wilde and Mendoza did a good job, very solid tag team work."

[9.0] "A great display of what these two teams are capable of. Innovative spots, pace, violence, new moves. In less than 10 minutes they made a biggest impression than most of the roster can do in 15 minutes. GG, I can only consider them better after this match"

[8.0] "Great fast paced opener. The highlights of the match were the Hot Fire Flame to outside of the ring and Wilde's 450 Splash off of the back of Carter. Nice to see MSK immediately in and around the titles scene somewhere they always struggled to cement themselves in back in Impact."

[8.0] "This match was truly awesome and it's my favorite WWE match for now this year. MSK are an excellent tag team, they can do what they want but I just want to say that Raul Mendoza is INCREDIBLE in the ring. He is so precise, he was the MVP of the match. Every spot was well executed. ****"

[7.0] "Super cool opener with non-stop action from start to finish, action that was obviously very good, fluid and fast as I expected with these two teams. They started calmly but after the commercial, they really reached the second gear and it was tremendous. MSK are booked perfectly since their debut and are very good babyfaces that I want to support, NXT do a very good job in presenting them as the stars of the tag division. Wilde & Mendoza continue to be one of the most underrated teams of the moment, they're fantastic and have such a cool chemistry to watch. Good opening match-up."

[8.0] "here's your indy spotfest tag match perfectly done by 4 mega talented men. Went the perfect time for a TV match ! Now, I do not see MSK winning the tournament, because imagine men 1 month in winning a tournament ? !"

[7.0] "Very athletic opener, setting a great pace for the rest of the show to follow. Legado del Fantasma seemed to just do moves and weren't all that heelish, but MSK's energy carried the match, and they ended up in the Dusty Cup Final on Sunday."
