Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy vs. Lance Storm & The Hurricane

[6.0] "Fun match in which mention was made of Shane Helms's past with The Hardys, which pleased me. The action itself was good, but it was just the opener, so nothing groundbreaking."

[7.0] "It was overbooked for the most part with shenanigans from the women in both teams' corners, but this was still a solid tag match between both teams with nice in ring action and chemistry between everyone, and the crowd was hot for it."

[6.0] "Took a little bit of time to get going, but this turned into a very exciting tag match. I think Storm and Hurricane were a good team, as Hurricane is able to get some personality and character work out of the stoic Storm. Hurricane in general is doing a good job establishing and getting the new character over at this point. Even though he takes the pin, he made the most of his time in the ring. It's not a hot match the whole time, but by the end when everyone is involved and bodies are flying everywhere, it becomes a lot of fun. Nothing spectacular but a really solid opener."

[6.0] "Crowd was hot for this and it was fun. And for an opener, especially in this era, having some over-booked fun to kick off the show is great. I have no recollection of the Storm/Hurricane partnership but it was pretty fun."

[6.0] "This was a fun opener to No Mercy; was lively and chaotic throughout with some solid work throughout. Jeff gets extra twisty on the Twist of Fate, Hurricane's dive spot was cool. The finish was a fun, over all the place one but was still good and was a good way to get everyone involved. A fun but ultimately forgettable match."

[6.0] "Short, but a fun way to open the show. The Hardys worked their usual style with a lot of quick offense and still being over with the crowd, while Storm and Helms were okay as heels and bumped around nicely. A lot of well done chaos near the finish with everybody being involved but still being in the right places at the right time."

[8.0] "I enjoyed this match a lot. It was short and everyone, including all 3 amazing ladies, got their spots in. Hurricane got his schtick in and I'm still a fan especially with Mighty Molly at this time, forgot about Victoria with Storm but she did her thing and of course Lita looked good in this. Right off the bat Storm and Hurricane pulled off a cool double team maneuver and it just was fast and non-stop from there. Of course Hardy's weren't losing this, but the charisma was great for these 4 guys."

[6.0] "A good fun, if somewhat overbooked, match that got the crowd going. Not really the best use of the Hardys, but a solid opener."

[6.0] "This was a vast paced and chaotic opener with constant tags to make sure the action never skips the beat. The interferences in this honestly added to the wildness of this so I didn't hate it too much. ***1/4"

[5.0] "Enjoyable yet chaotic match with many run-ins from the managers. A lot of bumps and high flying but it misses the right rhythm. Still it's okay for what they do in-ring, nothing special. **1/2"

[6.0] "A solid opener. I like the Hardys as a tag team and like hurricane and lance storm as individual wrestlers so was always going to enjoy it. Good tag team moves by both teams. Good match to get the crowd excited, my rating is ***"
