Masanobu Kurisu vs. Shoji Akiyoshi

[3.0] "I don't get this match and its praised, this was just an extended squash match with Masanobu Kurisu dominating Shoji Akiyoshi (now known as Jado) with stomps and punt kicks most of the match, Jado had a small comeback and executed a pretty Dropkick off the top rope but that was it, the rest was terribly uninteresting and the match had almost no moves. It ended with Jado being knocked out so there was nothing really positive in this match, this was horrible and empty. I don't get this match, i really don't - *1/2"

[7.0] "They show barely any of this but it's still pretty fucking great. Kurisu is a old bloke who punts you in the face full-pelt and stomps on that same face if you bitch out and won't fight out of his submissions, young Jado can do nothing but struggle and hope he gets out intact....which he doesn't mind you but still, it's the thought that counts. This was a dirty, old-fashioned Southern stomping here where the rookie gets in a few strikes and whatnot before getting run over again. Also includes some of the most disgusting chair shots you'll ever probably see, definitely worse than the Rock/Shamrock ones and that's something I wasn't prepared to say going into this. Jado gets in a good few moves including a decent top rope dropkick, but ultimately the odds don't really lie and Kurisu punt-kicks the poor lad to death until he stops moving and therefore wins. It's a great match, hasn't aged well whatsoever but they thankfully make this short and explosive. Kurisu is a monster, but he's a absolutely great one at that so you can't complain."

[8.0] "An incredible beating to young Jado. Kurisu establishes himself as a dangerous force in this. Nasty kicks."

[9.0] "This is one of the stiffest matches I've ever seen. Kurisu absolutely mauls rookie Jado here, throwing punt kicks and stomps with reckless abandon, along with his signature chair shots which on the handheld footage look like something out of a horror movie. Jado actually returns fire a few times, throwing some absolutely nasty headbutts of his own, but at the end of the day, Kurisu is set to face Onita soon and this is Jado's 2nd match ever, so you already know how this is ending. In my opinion it's the greatest squash match of all time and it made Kurisu look like the most violent being on the planet."

[7.0] "Young Jado receives quite the beating here. He turned out to have a notable career as you all know, so fret not and enjoy the show."

[8.0] "I hadn't seen anything from Kurisu before this... Jesus Christ. Little Jado really got punted in the head like 4 times and ate a chair shot to the back of the head outside of the ring.... Kurisu is a monster"
