Mickie James vs. Tara

[6.0] "I thought this was a decent women's main event for two reasons: 1. For the year this took place in that's impressive that women are main eventing. Two legends like Victoria and Mickie James deserve it. 2. The fact that this is a steel cage match. While I believe this should've been on a bigger stage I'll take what I can get. Alas it's not like early 10's TNA made great booking decisions."

[7.0] "Now this was a pretty fun match. Mickie was showing some craziness here as "Hardcore Country" something that Mickie DID NOT show at all during her babyface run in WWE from 2007-2010 and it was a bit refreshing to see Mickie and Tara just gun after each other like this. Mickie and Tara did worthwhile stuff here in this cage. Good stuff. Would give this a higher score, if the stakes were a put higher here like the Knockouts Title being on the line but, we can't have everything. High end 7 match. 7.90/10."

[7.0] "Quite the shocker that this one was not only more than just that one spot, but also genuinely good overall? Tara (AKA Victoria) in this match is, for some reason, very awkward. I don't know what was going on on this night but she was just all over the place. Her bumping was weird and a lot of her timing was off. However, this match is still intense and kind of brutal for the most part. While I do think Tara was liking in most departments, she does occasionally have some good bumps in this one, and she can beat the shit out of Mickie. Mickie has a great performance here. Very babyface like, the ending cage spot is crazy, and she truly gives it her all. Her selling and bumping were phenomenal. If this one just had some better pacing, and a less awkward performance from Tara, I would certainly say this is the best match I've seen from either woman. Good stuff overall. [***.5]"

[7.0] "An underrated match between two longtime veterans. Up there for Taras best match in the company and has a very memorable ending that should be showcased more with how well it was executed."

[7.0] "A heavy-hitting women's cage match that suffered badly from TNA's format at the time (the shows tended to overrun, with the main event of Impact getting pushed to ReAction). Tara legitimately injures her elbow during this match, but that ends up figuring into future storylines with her using an elbow brace as an illegal foreign object. The final spot - Mickie doing a top-rope Thesz press off the cage for the win - is so impressive. It should be on all of those "best of TNA" compilations instead of the Angle/Anderson cage moonsault - because, if nothing else, Mickie's move actually lands."
