Junji Hirata & Shinya Hashimoto vs. Yoji Anjo & Yoshihiro Takayama

[9.0] "Incredibly good tag match, super heated the crowd was so into Hashimoto beating up Takayama. Never seen a stiffer double stomp and then Hashimoto did one."

[7.0] "Golden Cups wearing Super Strong Machine masks was a great bit with Hirata in the ring (former Strong Machine himself). However I did think the 200% paint on the forehead was a bit too indie. Hashimoto was a little more fun in the match, the crowd had a fun time with it as well. Hashimoto hit a double footstomp and posed, which he usually doesnt do. Golden Cups are UWFI guys but they didnt adhere to that style at all, basically becoming fully formed pro wrestlers doing flying drop kicks, brawling, and it actually works to their benefit somewhat. While they lose this match, they are given much more than they usually are and it makes me think that they couldve integrated the UWFi guys much more in a different universe. The match comes when Hashimoto saves Hirata from a kneebar and applies a triangle on Takayama to retain the titles. Good tag match. ***1/2"

[9.0] "A great match, lots of hard hitting action throughout the whole bout. Great to see young whippersnapper Takayama here, him getting bullied by Hashimoto is a really interesting visual considering the monster Taka would become in a few years. It would be amazing to see what a 2000's Takayama vs 90's Hashimoto match would be like. Yoji is here being an entertaining little sh*t heel as usual and Hashimoto would not sell for him for long lol, absolutely blistering him with those kesagiri chops. These guys really lay it in this match and it makes for a great watch. p.s I won't spoil it but there is also one pretty funny moment in this match that the whole crowd cracks up laughing at."
