[3.0] "Just below the mark. A lot of clunky spots and a lot of rest holds. Not a great night for either guy though compared to the rest of the card this was great"
[6.0] "Rather great idea, Badd beat Flying Brian and to fight Sting for the US title. He then had car trouble and didn't turn up. DDP mocked him and now they have a match, because DDP's buddy was the one who slashed his tires. simple nice story. JBB returns the favor to DDP who attacked him from behind. Match seems pretty competent. good structure and good work. pretty horrendous commentary, as is to be expected when a woman is at ringside. DDP does some nice character work. Building towards a turn. It does really run a bit long. possibly 5.5, feeling generous tho"
[4.0] "It's miles better than most stuff on this card but it's still crap, way too long, no chemistry between the two guys whatsoever and clumsy as shit with weird overselling and an obvious DQ ignored, not that I'm a big stickler for the rules or anything but it was just another lowlight of a poor match. To cap it off a weak as shit clothesline finishes it. Bad match and it would only get worse as the show went on - much, much worse."
[5.0] "This was a weird match to me. Especially in a major ppv. I have no idea what the wcw refree are allowed to ignore because this was a clear dq match. Also after taking so many different moves, why would ddp get pinned by a fricking clothesline. It had good in ring work though."
[6.0] "It was a pretty good match if not a little too long. Badd was innovative with some of the moves he was pulling off at that time and DDP was fast improving and he an entertaining heel to watch and there's a lot of exciting well executed near falls. The odds started to stack against Badd when Muscle gets involved in more spot but he outsmarts them at every turn. The crowd loved the finish where DDP is accidentally taken out with a Clothesline by Muscle and Diamond Doll doesn't look too upset with it either."
[6.0] "DDP was clearly studying everything when he was the manager and he looked like a veteran leading the match at this point. He had a lot of tricks up his sleeve and he was using Muscle as a manager fantastically (the leverage spot was great), while Mero delivered another good babyface performance. The finish with Page getting knocked out by Maxx with a weak Clothesline wasn't the best though, but everything else was really solid."
"A decent match on an absolutely abysmal night of wrestling overall. DDP wasn't fully formed into the guy that would bring the house down with Savage just two years later. Marc Mero is, well, Johnny B. Badd, a gimmick I still don't really get. Guess I had to just be there. An overbooked to hell match that I don't love, but its Havoc 95, I'll take what I can get here."
[7.0] "I really liked the start of the match where Johnny B Badd dupes DDP. Of course DDP ends up spending most f the match getting heat but once Badd comebacks the crowd get super hot. The finish was super over,"
[6.0] "The only thing on this show worth a crap! Badd and Page had a great series running through January before Badd had a falling out with Bishoff over the story line and left for the WWF. Watch this match, and then you can pass on everything else that follows."
[6.0] "A solid match here, although DDP doesn't really have enough offence yet to keep it interesting for a full 17 minutes, leading to the match dragging in the middle. A decent opener that would have been a lot better at 5 minutes shorter."
[5.0] "The match was average, with Page getting the upper hand for most of it. Johnny B. Badd was ahead of his time as far as high flying goes and really shows some good athleticism here. Page was the bigger man of the two and used that to his advantage with a lot of rest holds and using his weight to maintain the pressure."
[9.0] "These two had great chemistry and really revitalized the TV title after it hit a rough patch with certain Hogan associated wrestlers we shall not name. The feud these two had was a blast and a highlight for both."
