So the 4 Doinks turn out to be Men On A Mission and the Bushwhackers who haven't been on ppv since SummerSlam 92. The heels get eliminated in horrible slapstick comedy fashion until it's just Bam Bam and he eventually falls victim to this garbage joke of a match. Bigelow was feuding with Doink at this time and Doink never even got involved in the match.THE worst WWF PPV match up until this point in history! |

Ich würde es aber "Augmented Reality"-Match nennen ... Warum? Weil es 1993 stattfand - noch lange vor "Cinematic Matches" im eigentlichen Sinne und weil einen Haufen Gegenstände verwendet wurden, die im Ring nix verloren haben (Tretroller, Truthahn, Banane, Luftballon und einen Eimer Wasser) sowie das Regelwerk ignoriert wurde (Cover-Versuche! ) zugunsten von Slapstick und Comedy-Einlagen. Natürlich nichts für Wrestling-Puristen und tödlich für die Karrieren des Heel-Teams zum Teil (bis auf den Gehalts-Scheck:). Trotzdem ist es für mich das erste Match in der "Augmented Reality"-Match-Form das es jemals gab. Danach war aber erstaunlicherweise das Doink-Gimmick tot. Sehr comichaft, das Match. |

They all keep passing around this disgusting turkey carcass that actively makes me consider becoming a vegetarian. Like I have 0 problem with comedy spots or comedy matches in general. Like that Japanese worker who's a Michael Jackson impersonator? Hilarious I hope he goes far. Even sometimes like so bad it's good moments like Snitzki punting the baby are funny (not his fault btw) but this is such forced Vince humor and its truly a train wreck. I don't think I can even give this a 1 because the only thing it set to be is funny and it was actively painful to watch so I'd say it failed in every way. |
