[7.0] "Sawa and Hara are brilliant balls of violent energy all the way through this. I don't think highly of Super Tiger and I did not love his work in this either but even I have to accept the finish here was a load of fun. Maybe a step or two down from some of the real high level Battlarts tags but still good."
[8.0] "The sort of top-tier battlarts match where it's dynamic and loud and everyone has something to say and does it by hitting each other really hard. Legendary Ishikawa and relatively young but sick as hell and 5 years into his career Sawa is something of a super team but Hara and Super Tiger use this to beat the shit out of them both and make an impact. Super Tiger is still relatively fresh into his run but might have been the one with the most to say in this, both with his offence and literally yelling at Ishikawa to bring it. Tiger might have the most vicious kicks in this match too which says a lot, the back and forth out of sync kicks he and Hara lay onto Sawa is so awesome, especially when one catches Sawa right in the jaw. Ishikawa is presented as a big threat, particularly when he locks 3 different holds on Hara in a row and Tiger comes in to break up every one. It's the sort of match where nothing really gets time to breathe but in a good way, the sense that if something breathes for too long it'll be the end of the match and everyone needs to rely on their partners constantly. Hara and Sawa really get into it as the illegal men, there's no light break ups of holds and then throwing each other out of the ring, they get into full-on standing strike exchanges and scraps in the corner while the camera has to focus back on Ishikawa and Tiger as the legal men. Tiger obliterates Ishikawa with kicks until he falls to the floor and can't make it back from the 10 count."
[6.0] "Ishikawa and Super Tiger are back at it again, this time with some enforcements (Sawa being the designed pupil of Yuki), being slightly better than the previous match between the two guys. *** - ***1/4"
