307.01.2026AfRotaker6.0Ich fand das schon ganz cool. Aber die Chemie war nicht die beste und in einigen Aktionen waren sie sogar ein bisschen schlampig. Das können die besser

606.01.2026EmoForkliftDriver5.0I honestly don't get the appeal of this match in particular. The wrestling was mediocre and the violence felt pretty bog standard for a Deathmatch. Arguably the best moments in the match, both involving the ladder, were immediately no sold and I don't think said no selling was earned. The final clash was a good exchange of moves especially as Hideyoshi Kamitani actually got to show he could wrestle well but it was too little too late for me and finishing a Deathmatch with a Saito Suplex just doesn't feel right
705.01.2026Fifth Pillar7.0There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking a deathmatch down a more traditional pro wrestling route, but let's be honest, Kasai is understandably worse for wear after nearly 30 years of this shit and the action here was often sluggish and ropey. The ladder superplex spirit spot got no reaction and took me right out of this thing, but they did steer it back on course for some tense closing exchanges ***1/2
804.01.2026PEW5657.0I feel like this was slightly underwhelming. It started off with a slow pace and lacked any particularly inventive or crazy spots

1402.01.2026Eytexi8.0With my only previous exposure to Kasai being his match at NJPW Death Pain Invitational earlier this year - a match that probably sits in my top-25 for the year worldwide - I was incredibly excited to see his name pop-up on the top-rated matches again and knew I had to give this a watch. These guys really get it. In a year where I have largely fallen-out with death match wrestling - as a result of spot overuse, poor logic, and a general lack of actual wrestling - these two make the carnage feel meaningful with appropriate resistance, flow, and plenty of great weapon-free sequences as well. Great stuff.

1902.01.2026joethom8.0A slower start allows the crowd to collect itself before Kasai and Kamitani begin the carnage in the ring. The ladder spots near the end looked like they had to hurt. I think they missed the peak but the finish they went with did have a definitive feel to it: I'm glad these two were able to match up.
2001.01.2026Amaury089.0I was very excited by this match and i'm not disapointed, Kasai is a wonderful legend of DeathMatch Wrestling, this match was so great, glad that Kamitani get the win.
2101.01.2026Oswuold10.0Honestly the best BJW glass Daethmatch in a lot of time. Classic puro Daethmatch action with some good no sell there and there and a great final stretch were Kamitani overcame the odds and delivered the win. I am a sucker for this. *****
2201.01.2026Kennel9.0A really good match with a hot crowd. Some big spots, but nothing too gruesome. Great to be there live.
2331.12.2025LIGERISM8.0A nicely done, slowly built, main event style deathmatch. Not a hack and slash but really milked the big money spots. Probably should've been the main event but there's nothing really on the line in this one. Hideyoshi Kamitani goes over huge here. Looks great. A great end to the biggest year in Jun Kasai's career, jumping off stuff back where it all began in BJW. Huge victory for Kamitani.
