[7.0] "A solid back n fourth match that was lacking in something I felt. Not sure if maybe the crowd just wasnt as hot as in their other encounters or if maybe they just didnt do as much as they did in past matches. On top of that the final few minutes were terribly overbooked with a run in from Corino and Jack victory oh rhino and Callis too. Then a random heel turn by Scotty ayton or Scotty Riggs from wcw. Jerry Lynn finally gets the Win but its overshadowed by all the bs that happened prior. 3.5/5 the overbooking takes it a down a bit"
[8.0] "This is just about everything you'd expect from an RVD/Lynn match - super fluid action throughout, and Rob takes some absolutely disgusting bumps along the way. The overabundance of run-ins near the end hurts a little, but I had a tremendous time with this one. [****]"
[7.0] "The first 15 minutes of the match were great, the two wrestlers showing great chemistry with some ridiculous counter offence. The last few minutes kinda spoiled it with too many run ins, making the bulk of the match feel a bit meaningless."
[9.0] "You could say that this match has some of the best spots in the RVD/Lynn feud to date, but there are some chair spots that strain credulity and--far more importantly--this thing is painfully overbooked. It really spoils the babyface journey Lynn had been on in this feud. Great wrestling regardless."
[8.0] "This was awesome, honestly on the same level, if not better than their Hardcore Heaven 99' match. The pace is faster overall and more back and forth. The interference finish didn't bother me too much, it actually seemed to have its place for whatever reason. I give this match an easy ****."

Irgendwie war für mich die Luft ein wenig raus und etliche Sequenzen wiederholten sich erneut. Dazu ein, für mich, doch liebloser Turn von Anton. Und statt Lynn gleich den Sack nach dem Turn zu zumachen lassen, geht das Match noch etwas was mir nicht gefiel. Trotzdem kann Lynn seinen Sieg über RVD einfahren, was absolut verdient ist. Somit hätte man jetzt spätestens RVD um den Big One antreten lassen sollen. (3 1/4*)"
