[7.0] "I'm not surprised by the fact that the match was solid. Hyo always knows how to play on the fact that he has a few quick pins and moves in reserve. YAMATO always confidently dominates their matches, while Hyo tries in every possible way to get out of the situation and quickly end the match. He catches YAMATO in short comebacks, and then YAMATO returns everything to normal. Here, Hyo failed to successfully realize his favorite moves for winning, but it raised the drama level and made his survival at the end more fulfilling."
[7.0] "It was fascinating seeing Hyo of all people giving YAMATO a convincing run for his money - personally I never expected him to improve since he was given a chance with Brave Gate title but this recent run continues to impress me. Very good Main Event."
[6.0] "Solid match from YAMATO & Hyo here, even if I'm not particularly a big fan of Hyo in a singles context. Thought YAMATO working from on top was great and he felt dominant, Hyo did a good job in the underdog role and in providing the necessary energy & fire in his comebacks, his selling in this regard was strong although his selling of YAMATO's leg work was not so good and very inconsistent."
[8.0] "Hyo put on his working boots rather than his showman's shoes and the result was one of the best singles matches of his career and easily the best KOG match thus far. A real winner and feather in both men's caps."
