[4.0] "Another short match, but his was most funnier. Not so much we saw from Wagner, but something of his lucha style was good. Lexis is really entertainy character and in ring he can show intresting things."

[5.0] "Lexis King has caught my eye with recent decent heel performances. He is not all the way there by no means. His limb targeting can lack in originality and the viciousness in that regard seems to fade away as he goes for repetitive moves (instead of being incremented, which would be the natural and far more engaging option). But his stooging and cockiness shows sings of promise. As for Wagner, he was there doing moves most of the time. The retaliation for King walking on his back was good in theory, as was the expressive head turn that leads to the final comeback, but the crowd wasn't there for him. I don't know if it was a timing issue, a not that engaging selling performance (that came off a not that engaging heat segment from King, to be honest) or a lack of fire (I tend to lean this way), but it didn't connect like it should."

[6.0] "It felt more like a showcase than a fight. Wagner Jr.'s offense was smooth and controlled, and he looked far more comfortable in his style. King tried hard, he had moments where he fired off combos and pushed back, but those efforts were too few to truly shift momentum. The match ended with Wagner securing the win, which fits his role as the more established name. I was left feeling it was competent, no glaring mistakes, but lacking the spark that turns a mid-card match into a memorable one."

[6.0] "Have not seen much of Wagner Jr but so far he looks pretty solid in the ring. I enjoyed watching Lexis King base for lucha for a few moves, I didn't think he had it in him. He is slowly progressing but still getting better everyday. His character is great"

[6.0] "Wagner started strong with a series of arm drags into an armbar, but King escaped and mocked him by stepping on his back. Wagner responded with a shoulder tackle and returned the favour with some back-walking of his own, followed by a few loud chops. King turned the tide by yanking on Wagner's mask and slapping him across the face. Wagner fired back, hitting a running hurricanrana and a backbreaker. King rolled to the floor, and Wagner impressed the crowd with a middle-rope moonsault to the outside. Back in the ring, Wagner charged at King, but King dodged and sent him crashing to the floor. King rammed Wagner's knee into the steel steps and then the ring apron, focusing his attack on the leg. King hit a knee drop, followed by a running clothesline for a two count. Staying on the knee, King applied a kneebar until Wagner fought free. Wagner mounted a comeback with a high knee and a sitout powerbomb for two. King countered with a dragon screw leg whip, then took too long going up top for a senton bomb and missed badly. Wagner capitalized, hitting a Shining Wizard knee and a Michinoku Driver for the three-count after about eight minutes. A solid, if unspectacular, match. Wagner sold the knee well throughout, making his comeback feel earned. The crowd wasn't quite as invested, likely due to Wagner being less familiar to the NXT audience, but the action was sound and the finish was clean. A decent showcase for Wagner heading into his next big match. **3/4"

[5.0] "This mostly highlighted how smooth Wagner Jr. really is. His offense was far more dynamic than Lexis King's safer, WWE-polished style. Lexis wasn't bad but he clearly had to push harder to keep up with Wagner. Competent match, just not one that leaves much impression."
