[8.0] "FTR are terrific in just about any scenario, but there is something magical to their comfort in a setting such as this. The intimate environment really highlights their personality, equally adding some extra bite to their biggest bombs. They're razor sharp here, elevating a brand new team with obvious potential. Admittedly, Billington is a step or two behind Priest in this particular firefight, but it's a blast nonetheless. ****"
[6.0] "3 wrestlers in this match that have high quality. The match wasn't bad as u can tell, disappointed me tbh but good time ig, I didn't liked some ideas in the match, other than that everything is good I feel like. ***"
[7.0] "Good match, happy to see Dynamite Kid on AEW TV. Not much else to say, FTR were clearly going to win here. Their second match is obviously better looking back, but this sets up the next perfectly."
[7.0] "Great wrestling match. Tony Khan will hire Priest and I don't know exactly if he will be working at ROH or AEW, if he will be a jobber or not, but this man need to be payed attention. He somehow had good chemistry with Billington and this was their first match together. Probably it went longer than it should be, but that is a problem well know for every FTR match. For the All Out, I am pretty sure their match will be longer than twenty minutes. I know them pretty well to see it happen."
[5.0] "Much worse than the previous week's tag between similar competitors. I think it would be reductive to put the decline in match on Tommy Billington's shoulders. Sure, JD Drake's performance was a big anchor of the previous bout. But both Priest and FTR perform just worse than on the previous week. Less urgency and focus, mainly. The more back and forth match layout doesn't help either. The shine and the heat are reduced to almost nothing and it suffers as a result."
[7.0] "Another excellent match with FTR showcasing Adam Priest to the AEW audience, this time with Tommy Billington and yeah, it rules of course, those transitional matches before the All Out dream match against Cope and Christian are very fun, and just like last week, this was an easy-watch, high quality wrestling, with a great pace, and lots of incredible strikes. Priest and Tommy showed a lot of heart, like any proper babyface team should do, but FTR is too much for them right now and the experience ended up giving them the win, even considering Billington was very close to submitting Dax, but the Top Guys got the upper hand and won after cool sequences together - {***1/2}"
[7.0] "FTR are amazing. Dynamite Kid is constantly improving. Nothing but respect for all three. I just have to say: Consider me an Adam Priest fan after this one. Simple as it may seem, that sequence in which he fought tooth and nail outside the ring sold me. I love his demeanor and ring style, but that intensity can't be taught. It's just within a wrestler or it isn't. And Priest has it. Hope AEW signs him full-time and makes him a featured member of their roster ASAP. Overall, a really solid match that told quite a story of upstarts versus veterans. Classic, old school, whatever you want to call it. This was thoroughly entertaining. 3.5 stars, 7 out of 10."
[5.0] "Decent TV match but nothing more, I feel like this is a bit overrated on here. Billington is still a bit green and definitely a downgrade from Drake last week, which I feel meshes quite well with Priest. Not bad by any means necessary, just forgettable and outshined by the Mox and Briscoe matches on the same card."
[7.0] "Good TV match here, didn't like it as much as the previous match with JD Drake but still a lot to like here. I like what I see of Priest and hope this is a pathway to him doing more in AEW. FTR, great as usual. Can't say I'm the biggest fan of Billington, nor him coming in with the diving headbutt spot which everyone ought to know does nasty things to a person's head. That aside, this was still a good TV match."
[7.0] "(Grade:C/***) Very good classic Tag Team match, wasn't expecting Adam Priest to be cheered as a face but the crowd was behind him along with Tommy Billington. FTR goes on a dominate run ahead of All Out."
[8.0] "Old school tag team wrestling just rocks, Priest and Tommy are really talented and showed out in this match. FTR are FTR, they're always going to give you a banger"
[7.0] "Old school style tag wrestling for the fucking win baby FTR just don't do bad matches. This match was a great showing for Priest and Tommy just like everyone expected as they got to show out with a good amount of sold offence throughout the match. I really hope that Priest gets his graphic soon he really is great. FTR just really are the Top Guys everything they're in is just so great. Their Tag work is so good the way they set up tags, their tag offence, their control and heat segments are done perfectly every time. I liked that it took them effort to win this match as well which added to the intensity and old school feel the match also had a great face/heel dynamic. I liked the finish with the power and glory my favourite spot of the match was definitely the double flying headbutts. Overall a great match that continues FTR's ruthlessness going into All out and acted as a great showcase of Priest and Billington. (***3/4)"
[8.0] "standard FTR match, but with their opponents it became an absolute old school tag team brawl which I hadn't realised I'd sorely missed. Really great work and something a bit different. Priest is someone who's really impressing me despite being quite sour on him initially."
[7.0] "FTR played a good match as usual. They couldn't afford to lose tonight since they're going to face Cole and Christian, but they managed to make their underdog opponent look good. They are still very much disliked by the fans."
[7.0] "FTR was functioning in glorious fashion; not only in how they highlighted their opponents' respective strengths, but their tandem work and the tricks they pulled to continue making their frequent tags really emphasized their chemistry. That work also communicated how they are the more tenured and well-oiled tag team in this bout, which established a hierarchy where the viewer is able to tell who's the team with less experience. FTR highlighted Priest's snug and tenacious work and Billington's dynamic approach. There's a very neat touch where it shows the contrast from a character standpoint between Priest and Billington: when it came to Billington, he remained composed after Cash slapped him. And when Dax slapped Priest, he displayed intemperance, which allowed FTR to take advantage of him. Another thing I highly enjoyed from this match was the heat they managed to create upon returning from ad breaks, where Priest looked awesome as he turned the tide with the crowd rallying behind him. ***1/2"
[7.0] "Very good old school tag. Billington and Dax had some history together that made more fun watching their encounters. Dax and Cash continue their despise towards Philly crowd and it's so awesome. Tommy and Priest came out really great, very good job as babyfaces, fun pairing that I sure hope will get more time to shine. The Double Flying Headbutt was my favorite moment. Four great wrestlers with a great understanding of the psychology and crowd-work doing an excellent job. This is what Collision is all about after all."
[5.0] "Pretty average for an FTR tag team match, not too bad or good. However it went too long and having these dudes show up randomly then disappear for eternity doesn't do any favors to anybody. This feud with Cope-Cage lack some serious steam for me and I was hoping they'd utilize Collision to brought some heat but alas that didn't happen."
[7.0] "This was really good. This isn't the type of performance I'm used to from Priest but I thought he and Billington excelled as the underdog faces here, while FTR continue to be great heels. This loses itself a bit towards the end, but overall the work here was extremely strong. ***1/2"
[4.0] "It was nice to see Billington and Priest, but I found the match pretty passable with a lot of low points. Nothing major, but a bit too forgettable, especially for wrestlers we rarely see outside of ROH. In-ring quality: 0.75/4. Stakes: 0.5/2. Justification: 1/1. Place on the card: 1/1. Suspense: 0/1. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 4.25/10. Match seen on AEW Plus."
[8.0] "FTR is having a tremendous year and this is another one to their catalogue. FTR have just locked back into peak form eith this heel run and have displayed great form over the past couple of months. This is worth a checking if you haven't seen it and will be a sneaky match I think people forget about that'll people will look back on as being a hidden classic. ***3/4"
[7.0] "[3.5*] This was fucking awesome. Old-school Tag Team Wrestling match with awesome showings for all 4 men. Priest and Tommy worked very well as babyfaces and I was really expecting a Priest turn mid-match which didn't happen. This was a classic match, very hard hitting and just super cool. This is the kind of match that makes me watch Collision (although I watch like 1 show each 2 months or something lol)."
[7.0] "I do enjoy 80s Tag Team Wrestling or at least a tribute to it. FTR since turning heel have been so fresh and fun to see. Cool to see Adam Priest getting some shine, Billington got to show off as well."
[8.0] "This fight was dynamic, but at the same time felt very old school. I'm amazed by Adam Priest, the guy showed spirit, technically he is very good"
[8.0] "A surprising performance from Billington and Priest. Both young men demonstrated a classic yet very effective wrestling style. This match was structured in a classic way, with FTR using traps and advantages to decimate their opponents. For a moment it even looked like Billington and Priest would win, both of them showed great courage and dedication."
[7.0] "A damn good tag match. FTR continue their hot streak and with an opponent like Adam Priest to work with you know it's going to be physical, good work. Tommy Billington had a solid performance as well (these are the sort of matches he needs to be in to get better)."
[7.0] "This got way more time than I expected in a good way; Priest tagging with Billington and working face seemed like an odd concept but wow they really made it work, and FTR playing great heels helped a lot too. Was surprised that Priest didn't turn and join with FTR & Stoke as well, but I suppose that'd muddy the angle they're running. Still, very good TV tag. ***1/2"
