[7.0] "I was thinking this might be the team the Death Riders turn on Moxley, considering how soon it was after he lost the title, but they didn't. This was just a solid Trios Match to close out the show. We're one show into Page's reign as World Champion, and he's already great. So glad he's getting another run with the gold."
[5.0] "This should have been 10 minutes. They could have told the same story in less time. I appreciate Hangman's comeback at the end and Moxley feeling scared. There are sometimes that this match feels empty, and without some filler, this could have been an amazing main event that proggresed Moxley's and Hangman's characters in a very good way. Loved the final visual of Darby though. Let Moxley and Darby have a Non Sanctioned Match and you will haver another MOTYC. Hope next week we see something about the next challenger for Hangman, but I liked that he really felt like the best of the 6 wrestlers in the match."
[6.0] "[3.0*] Very good match. I'll not call it underrated because it's indeed not the spotfest AEW fans are used to in multi-man matches. This looked like it came directly from old-school house shows, with a very long control segment by the heels that makes you fucking annoyed until finally the babyfaces have their comeback for the feel-good win. A very old but effective formula that generates heat and makes you root more for the good guys than when all 6 of them are just doing cool stuff. I was really liking the different tone from these matches with the Bucks, but I missed a good ol' Death Riders rudo match from the 80's. Hangman's selling was perfect."
"Just a quick (haha) comment on the finish of this match. Hangman has Claudio set up for the Buckshot Lariat. Page, who's just completed his like two-year redemption story defeating Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match AGAIN to win the World Title AGAIN, goes for the Buckshot, but Claudio reverses it and sets up for the Neutralizer. Hangman double-legs Cesaro, and hits a quick jackknife pin for the win. Tony, my dude, what is wrong with Claudio just eating a Buckshot Lariat and getting pinned in the middle of the ring? I seriously do not understand AEW's obsession with these reversal/surprise pin finishes. Claudio Castagnoli will not suffer from taking the champion's finisher at the end of a grueling six-man tag match on an episode of Dynamite. Bro does not need protecting. He will not lose any Momentum or Overness Points. These kinds of finishes happen way too often. Hangman deserved a big exclamation point after All In and that promo to open the show. Instead he gets essentially a quick roll-up victory. Boooo."
[3.0] "Definitely not the main event I'm looking for after a show like All In. Totally forgettable and only there to set up the beginning of the rivalry between Allin and Mox, which would probably have been better with a segment unrelated to a match. Especially when the match in question is so pointless. In-ring quality: 0.75/4. Stakes: 0.25/2. Justification: 0.25/1. Place on the card: 0.5/1. Suspense: 0.25/1. Bonuses/penalties: none. Total: 3/10. Match seen on AEW Plus."
[6.0] "Well I thought the All In would have been the highest point for the Death Riders, but it seems that I'm wrong. The match went too long for me. The first 10 minutes were sloppy and after the last commercial break it all fired up. It was not a very good main event."
[6.0] "Ended just as it was getting really fun unfortunately. The babyfaces in particular were pretty great. Post match also worked nicely into the next story for the Death Riders. ***1/4"
[5.0] "Why does Mox keep showing up at the weekly shows? I thought it was clear that after the beating he took, he'd have to retire temporarily or at least take an extended vacation. It doesn't make sense to show him a week later, all patched up and scared of his opponents. The aura he had is gone, and putting him in filler matches won't help at all."
[7.0] "Hangman Adam Page is the best babyface in the world and completely carried this match. I did like that Mox was noticeably more scared than previous times we've seen him, after he faced death at all in he doesn't want that to happen again."
[6.0] "Very solid main event, it explored well everyone's involved strengths, and left a little taste of 'wanting more' from Moxley and Hangman, the two protagonists of the All In thriller. Marina Shafir performed incredibly well her role as a heel manager, with several heel works without the referee seeing, to create a lot of heat, and it was pretty cool how Jon was always running away from the physicality, specially when it comes to Page... his facial expression when confronted by Hobbs was amazing too. That was very house show, and purposely didn't reach a big climax, but it was a pretty fun and decent action to close the episode - {***}"
[6.0] "Man, I had a lot of hope for this match, but didn't get to be every I wanted it to be. Like I said earlier, these tag team matches need to dwindle because I wish Adam Page had a one-on-one match and had a cool little bout. This match was okay, and I thought the Death Riders were going to kick Jon Moxley out, but Darby Allin appeared in the rafters and did what his old man did, Sting, and stared down Jon Moxley."
[6.0] "Not the greatest trios match AEW have ever put on. The Death Riders were definitely rattled post loss at All in which played into this match, Nice to see Hangman get his second big pop of the night when he made his entrance he looked good in this match with some nice moments and picking up the win in his first match as world champ. Hobbs looked good like he always does hit his power moves will and hit a huge spin buster to Mox at the end which was nice. Briscoe was his usual high paced hard hitting self always love seeing me some redneck Kung fu and a great froggy bow at the end. The Death riders looked pretty decent in this match defiantly not their best trios performance as this is a match type they normally look great in. Obviously this match is meant to keep the story rolling towards All Out where we propyl get a blood and Guts main event to finish of the Death Riders storyline as they will have to surrender and they did that with the tease with Darby post match. Overall a good match used to continue to drive the story further in what is the final act of it although the match probably could of been 2 or 3 minutes less and still achieved the same thing. (***1/4)"
[7.0] "I was not happy when this was announced as wanted fresh direction, I did think Mox initially was quite interesting in how he did very little but then settled into his usual pattern. No idea why he was shocked to see someone who interfered his match less than four days ago either. The action outside of it was good but lets now get Hanger and Mox away from each other and into new programmes."
[5.0] "A strong finish but overall a pretty lackluster match that only served to build om Hangman's dominance and build toward the inevitable car crash match of Jon Moxley vs Darby Allin. Lots of character work and rest holds not the most engaging watch. Even the crowd was chanting for Darby ten minutes before he showed up. Lackluster match to close out the show but the post match drama was the main draw here"
[2.0] "Lowest point of the show for me. Had no desire whatsoever to sit through a 20 minute match, especially in the main event spot to see the same people who've been fighting for months. I thought All In was supposed to be a reset but this was a big stepback for me. If this is somehow leading to a blood and guts or whatever, it's really stupid and unnecessary to drag this out even further. Really should have been a fresh direction for all involved after last Saturday."
[4.0] "Boring heat phases repeated around Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs just to get Hangman's hot tag moment (a very cool one at that) but I'm not sure it was necessary to have a match with the Death Riders directly after what we saw at All In."
[8.0] "Thought this was a solid trios match, to establish that the Death Riders are still around and still a threat, but that they are also on the backfoot. Especially with the Darby in the rafters shot after the match."
[7.0] "Bafflingly low rating on this one. This was easily my favourite match on the show. Everyone put in a great performance here but Mox was particularly good here. He didn't do a whole lot here but everything he did do got massive heat. Hangman was great here too, and I thought his leg selling was quite good. We get an action packed finishing stretch before a admittedly flat finish where Hangman wins with a roll up. I definitely think he should've pinned someone clean here, as this is his first match as World champion, but other than that, I thought this was some very good TV wrestling. ***3/4"
[4.0] "This went on for eternity. Why the hell was this so long? Also why is the trios champ Hobbs fighting along with non trios guys Briscoe and Page? Lmao this is just hilarious at this point. Like where the hell is Shibata? Page and Moxley shouldn't even be interacting after what happened at All In. If they wanted to do this match so bad then it should have happened at least a week after and not on this show. The match was very boring. There wasn't anything good or bad. Just a typical Deathriders match. Went on for so long. Two commercial breaks took place in this match. And even then the crowd favorite babyfave champ had to win via a fucking jackknife roll up pin. At this point Page should win with the Buckshot and why didn't that midcarder Claudio take it? It made me so mad. Deathriders started beatdown post match. Darby appeared in the balcony but didn't do anything. Page hit a distracted Mox with a buckshot lariat to close the show."
[5.0] "Bit of a nothing match here and I certainly expected more. Hangman's fire was the highlight, but that didn't come until the very end and then he caught Claudio in a pinning predicament to win. Death Riders beat down in the post match, Darby causes a distraction enabling Hangman to get the upper hand."
[4.0] "This was pretty boring and only got decen after they returned from the last commercial break and with Hangman's hot tag, and this didn't need to go 17 minutes and don't even know why this main evented the show, not big angle or return Hangman just won and Darby made the save by aurafarming in the crowd, not a great follow up for the All In main event"
[7.0] "Fine enough story-driven match. You can tell from the way that the match played out that the Death Riders, and especially Mox, were still rattled and distracted from going 0-2 at All In. After all the dominance the Death Riders have shown over the past few months, now is the time for the babyfaces to start selling less, and for the babyfaces to get the upper hand more. And, of course, we get a tribute to Sting watching from the rafters in the form of Darby, which indicates how the feud is going to progress into September."
