[8.0] "This match was awesome as the fans chanted throughout the match. I'm not surprised, considering how good these three women are. The match was full of pin breakups after all three women hit their big moves. That's a great way to put over how close the match was. That was a very creative way of doing a backslide pin, too. Lynch is so good. We know Bayley is awesome, Lyra can hang with both of these legends and they went on to have an outstanding, fast-paced match that set the tone for the rest of the night. I think Lynch will probably move on from facing Lyra for this title, while Bayley could still be a contender in the future."

The dynamic between the three is excellent, I like Lyra being some sort of outsider to two of the original Four Horsewomen, and she plays her part very well. The action is pretty sweet, everyone is involved, there's some marvelous spots, perfectly timed saves and a lovely finish. The crowd loves it, and for good reasons! ****1/4"

Everyone felt equal and they were creative with the spots they dished out when all 3 were involved. Didn't feel slow at all & had the same energy from start to finish. The sliding roll up Becky dished out was smooth & drove home the fact she stole the win"

[7.0] "From the opening bell, the bout delivered high-energy action, combining Rhea's power, IYO's agility, and Bayley's ring IQ. The contrast in styles made every exchange exciting and unpredictable. Rhea showcased her dominance early, while IYO's aerial maneuvers and Bayley's strategic timing created compelling momentum shifts. The chemistry among the three was evident, with seamless sequences and innovative spots that kept the crowd fully engaged. As an opener, it accomplished exactly what it needed to: it ignited the audience, raised expectations for the rest of the event, and demonstrated the evolution of women's wrestling in WWE. The match highlighted each competitor's strengths while telling a cohesive story, making it both technically sound and emotionally compelling -- a perfect start to a groundbreaking pay-per-view."

The pacing kept the energy high from start to finish, with each wrestler having standout moments that elevated the story. The ending was interesting and added a satisfying twist, making this not only a great triple threat but easily the best match of this rivalry so far."

They mesh-up the technical wrestling with a more "rough" and stiff approach, with tons of bumping. I just fucking love it. Way different than usual WWE triple threats."

The pacing was superb and all 3 women have amazing chemistry with each other. Every single move mattered and had an impact. Also the finish was so smart and so smooth. Outstanding physical technical wrestling match."

They're razor sharp here and the timing is terrific at every turn, being given a consistent edge by Valkyria's clobbering. They push an impressive pace too, really setting the tone for the show ahead. ****1/4"

The technical work was incredible, and the final roll up was so smooth you'd think Becky was silk. This didn't have me as jaw dropped as the past matches in their feud, but that doesn't mean I wasn't loving every second of this."

[10.0] "I loved every second of this. Becky, Bayley, and Lyra brought completely different energies, and they meshed beautifully. Becky was the heart, Bayley the chaos, and Lyra the spark of something new. It felt like three eras of women's wrestling colliding in one match. The storytelling was rich without being overcomplicated, and the pacing was near perfect. They hit hard, they moved smart, and they made every moment feel like it mattered. I was especially impressed by how balanced it felt--no one got lost, and each woman had her time to shine. It's rare that a match makes me feel this invested from bell to bell. This wasn't just great wrestling--it was meaningful, powerful, and unforgettable."

[10.0] "So, seven years after WWE's first all female event, they are finally running another one... Considering how deep their women's division has become, I'm actually surprised it took so long to put this together, but I won't comment further on that. So here we have two of the Four NXT Horsewomen in a three way dance with relative newcomer Lyra Valkyria, whom I remember fondly from my days of watching wXw and who has been doing really well for herself lately in the 'E. Up for grabs is the new (as of this year) Women's IC title, and holy crap WWE has a lot of titles these days, I think they have 25 across all brands? But a title is as good as you want it to be, and with these three in the ring it's going to be looking pretty good. This was a great mix of several different elements and I thought it flowed exceptionally well, there's a lot of chemistry happening here in several different directions. Becky is doing the heel thing again and while I think she's better as a face, she did show out really well here, and Bayley has been very good since going back to her babyface roots after many years away. The biggest story element here (as far as I could tell, I don't watch week to week) was that Lyra used to be a supporter of Becky, bonded over their shared Irish origins no doubt, but Becky turned against her at some point along the line. But there is very deep history between Becky and Bayley, and that dominated a solid part of the match as well. All in all this was simply a very well worked match with a lot of slick moments and the right pace to keep strong engagement without falling too far into go-go territory. The finish was top tier, as Bayley seemed poised for the win only for Becky to peel her off Lyra in a gorgeous looking backslide variation to put her down for the win. Becky rolls on but I bet she is not done with Lyra just yet. I'd rank this within my top 80 for the year to date."

Contains a few too many instances of people disappearing and reappearing for me to properly co-sign but absolutely loved some of the sequences here. Lyra proving herself to be one of the best women in the company right now, and Becky and Bayley reaffirm their legend status. The finish was absolute genius."

[9.0] "A very good match to open the show. The pace, the chemistry, they're perfect. The striking exchanges between Bayley and Becky are qyute hard-hitting. Lyra, once again, proves why she is one the best technical wrestler in the women division. Becky and Bayley are also future hall of famer for their works. What a way to open Evolution 2025 and three of them deserve that."

All three women delivered outstanding performances, bouncing off each other's energy and going all out to put on a remarkable display. There were plenty of entertaining moments throughout, with the storyline between Becky and Bayley standing out as especially engaging, while Lyra played the outsider role, always seizing opportunities when the other two were distracted. The finish was absolutely brilliant."

All 3 women were incredible here, working off of each-other perfectly, and truly going above and beyond to have an incredible showing for this match. There were some really fun spots throughout, the story being told with Becky and Bayley was particularly engaging, with Lyra being the odd one out, always catching the other two in moments where they're distracted. The finish was absolutely incredible, possibly the best rollup I've ever seen, and it marked the end of a phenomenal opening bout that truly set a good tone for this show."

The wrestling alone in this match is some of the best i've seen all year for sure loved the counters out of everyone's big moves the in breakups were awesome and the sudden finish was great with one of the best pins i've ever seen from becky lynch. Dude this was unbelievable and i can't wait for becky and lyra 3 and summerslam. 4.50 stars"
BasuraNocturna wrote on 17.07.2025:
[7.0] "The pairing of Lynch and Bayley was very good. As is usually the case with 3-way matches, it lacks a bit on a structural level and feels very contrived at times. The finishing stretch, in particular, overindulges in big moves into someone breaking the pin. Not a bad showing at all from Valkyria, but I think she was the less interesting here. She's good at pulling out moves, but there's still a lack of character issues to inform her in ring performance. Bayley is more defined as a scrappy babyface and Lynch plays the role of the opportunistic heel great. Bayley is throwing elbows and enduring punishment like a champ, Lynch goes for a shortcuts whenever she sees an opening, and Lyra ends up being the one doing the more flashy stuff. Not bad, but the least engaging for me. Becky and Bayley aren't perfect in these one, though. There's a hammerlock exploder on the barricade where Bayley hits her knee. Lynch seemed to do it as a way to work on the arm like in their one-on-one on RAW, but as Bayley reacts according to the circumstances of the match and sells her knee (which took much of the impact) Lynch is unable to adapt and works on the arm. Kind of clunky, especially given Bayley has to start to sell a bit more of the arm and less of the knee than her initial reaction would have lead you to believe halfway through Lynch's control segment."

There were some really nice spots, in particular the peripeteia to Bayley mid Roseplant to Becky. I don't see a lot of wrestling without knowing the result, but I'm so glad I avoided spoilers here because this was terrific and any of the three could have won. They had me on the nearfalls towards the end. Becky escapes with the win with a really nice rolling backside. This show has two MOTY contenders on paper, this and the main event. 1/2 have delivered thus far."

I felt like the action really leveled up whenever Lyra was involved--so many false finishes and some really clever, well-executed pin combinations and sequences. I'm guessing the roll-up finish was done to avoid making anyone look too dominant and to keep the feud going a bit longer. Overall, a very fun match with solid pacing and great chemistry between all three."

I can't even describe how happy i was when i heard the crowd, you could clearly tell they care so much about those 3 and they already told us how amazing this match is going to be. It was fast, packed with fantastic action and the chemistry was off charts! All 3 did TERRIFIC job and every move and spot looked perfect - putting them as an opener set the bar very high and showed how this PLE will outshine everything WWE has done this year. [7.0] "I think its time to ditch the pretence that the WWE style is somehow more subtle or measured than what's on offer in AEW, TNA, the indies, Japan and Mexico. These three went at it full pelt from the opening bell and never slowed up - and while that relentlessness does take incredible precision, conditioning and athleticism, the commentary team struggled to keep up, and this was basically a blur of big moves & clever combos until a roll-up trumped the finishers (again) ***1/2"

[7.0] "A great choice to start the show as outside of the main event this was probably the next best match. You can always be sure that any combination of these three women will be able to put on at least a good match if not a great match. That being said i am starting to get a little bored of seeing them paired up all the time. At the time of posting we've just had another match on Raw between Bayley and lyra setting up another match between Becky/Lyra at Summerslam which I think will be their 4th in as many months and the 8th match featuring some combination of the 3 of them in the same timeframe. A nice long breather after Summerslam for these 3 please."
