[7.0] "This was going very well and it's really a shame that it ended in a no contest. I get why it was done to set up the match at the rumble but in the moment I didn't like it too much. I still think this was a good and fast paced match."
[6.0] "A pairing that could never go wrong as the chemistry is on-spot and top-notch and its a shame that they never got the proper stage or platform to showcase the essence of tag-team wrestling. It'll be DIY/Revival all over again, maybe better too. The tag-team continuity and creativity as well as the flow of the match was sublime but its evntually leading to an angle advancement and a sort of a stepping-stone so while the match was lovely, it leaves for more to be desired ***1/4"
[8.0] "Before the No Contest finish, it was a good match. I mean it's DIY VS Motor City Machine Guns. They could have a match in front of 0 people and still have a banger. This was really solid and I hope WWE will give us a proper match between these two one day."
[8.0] "I thought this was a really good match between both teams and I liked the finish because this progress the story within the tag team division and DIY just won the titles and didn't need to lose them. I'm invested into seeing where this goes."
[8.0] "Awesome match. I'm so glad these two great teams are getting airplay, they definitely deserve it. And even the D/Q ending doesn't ruin the experience, because it means we'll definitely see a rematch between them in the future, which will most likely be even more epic. I'm also glad that Pretty Deadly was brought into the storyline in a smart way. The ideal solution for me would be if Pretty Deadly somehow won the titles (they deserve it) and Motors and DIY continue their feud without the titles, because now it's something more personal. ****"
[6.0] "This started out great with some excellent chain wrestling between Sabin and Ciampa. Cole and Graves gave us some nice historical reflection on the competitors which was nice. Watching this match was probably the first time I have realised just how great Alex Shelly is - his work is just so smooth and faultless. If I had any criticism of this match it wouldn't be the DQ finish (Im cool with that cos it works within the context of the storyline) it was the massive period of Ref burial mid match where he was stood around looking like a burk as both teams ignored him with illegal double teaming."
[7.0] "A solid match from these two teams yet again. I do wish we could have gotten a proper finish, but I also recognize that the story isn't over yet. I'm still holding out hope that this feud blows off with a match where they can really just go balls to the wall and deliver the classic I know they're capable of against each other."
[7.0] "Pretty good match for TV standards. Motor City Machine Guns are really, really good, maybe too much. And maybe having DIY working too much of a heel coward style prevented this match from really stand out as it really should, but then again, just by how the match ended, this wasn't intended to be a match that shined on its own but rather a development of the growing tag team division on SmackDown now with the inclusions of Pretty Deadly and Los Garza in the storyline. I see in this match the same problem I saw in other matches of the MCMG. They put the spotlight too much on them and what they can do so great in the ring and they barely leave room to their opponents to do something that allows them to showcase themselves in the match. The revival of the tag team division on SmackDown is one of my favorite WWE things today, they're booking it really good, giving every team some purpose and different but organically connected stories and allowing them to have nice in-ring showdowns. This can only go better when they allow the teams to go PPV and let them having some old school Takeover style match. There is something great in here (*** 1/2)"
[7.0] "Really good work from all four competitors during this. The build is really working here. Finish, though understandable, dampens the match a bit which stops it from being a banger."
[3.0] "I was so dissapointed these are Two of my favorite tag teams and I was really looking forward to this bout. I know these guys are capable of having an absolute tag classic but this was just a basic TV tag bout with a horrible no contest finish. The only positive is Pretty Deadly who I also really like are getting TV time."
[7.0] "actually a real solid tag title match i just wasn't really expecting to have it done here i was expecting a little bit more of a build up for the match honestly. But i wonder how long this stuff with diy and pretty deadly will continue to go on for. I mean it sucks this ended in a DQ finish but it makes sense somehow probably gets us to a big multi team tag title match MAYBE even at a ppv which neither tag belt has been defended on ppv since mania 40 smh. 3.25 stars"
[7.0] "Decent match between DIY and MCMG with a poor ending but good to build some other contenders to the tag divison other than DIY Street Profits and MCMG"
[8.0] "Good match with a bad ending. The in-ring work during the match is phenomenal. I am loving how Corey Graves is going after Gargano on commentary. Liked the false finishes when Pretty Deadly first came out and when they were attacked by Los Garza. Pretty Deadly and Los Garza ended up causing a no contest so that the feud between Smackdown's five teams can continue"
[6.0] "That was the only match that I've paid attention from the show, and it probably wasn't the best choice, I've heard that some other matches here were really good, but that was the one that I wanted to watch, and it was good, the no-contest finish is obviously not ideal, but the action that we could watch from both these teams was very solid, high quality wrestling that we know they can deliver - {**3/4}"
[7.0] "I thought that the Tag Team Championship match was good. All four superstars are savvy and know how to work with one another. The chemistry is there. I hoped we would get a defining winner for this one, so I didn't like the no-contest finish. As we advance, I'm excited to see how Pretty Deadly, Los Garza, and The Street Profits interject themselves into this situation."
