A typical flip show, perhaps, but with an added layer of nuance with the tag team partners, Davey Bang and August Matthews, competing against each other. That gave them the chance to hit all of their typically excellent double-team moves, building to the who-should-go-for-the-fall confusion/turmoil spot. Another highlight was the symmetry of the missed 450 splashes, then Mathers and Wolf hitting nearly symmetrical 450 splash (Mathers) and shooting star press (Wolf). |
