And Orange is a comedy wrestler. No one is going to take him seriously as the main babyface of this company. I didn't enjoy this."

I knew who was gonna win as Orange Cassidy needed this win to further his chances to beat Jon Moxley at Full Gear this coming Saturday. But this was a let - down of a match as I had high hopes for this match."

[6.0] "This match had the potential to be a great main event, and it could have put AEW back on the map a little. As it stands, it's a decent match. It serves well as a TV match, but with workers of Yuta and Cassidy, who I know can do amazing things, it underwhelmed. There were brief moments of greatness, and I like the idea of Cassidy having to toughen up, and thus he plays into grittier tactics like joint manipulation, but it all ended way too quickly. I get it, a roll-up keeps Yuta strong, but I feel that Cassidy should've won with his Orange Punch or something that makes him look strong. The second thing I'd do is just make it a bit longer, give the two more time to tell their story, because as it stands, it's nothing more than a decent TV main event. These two have done better; I think it's the abrupt ending that puts it down for me."

I particularly LOVED how furious Cassidy was throughout this match, and it was great seeing Yuta gradually give in to his dark vicious side too. I give this really good match a strong 7.5 out of 10 here."

The finish killed it for me."

[6.0] "I liked the match between Yuta and OC. Mentor vs student, with some feeling of hate between them. The pace and action was good but the ending and the post-match... I just did not like it. The use of the chair as an excuse for the win of OC was just cheap. And the angle with all Death Riders bullying OC like nothing was terrible. This stable is suppose to be violent... why are not they destroying Cassidy? I would have prefer a very violent ending, with OC full of blood in the ground and still standing when Moxley is leaving. A pity of missed opportunity that gives not a good taste before Full Gear."

[2.0] "Why was this so competitive. I literally thought this would be a one move angle: Orange hitting the orange punch and one, two, three. That's more or less what it should have been. Orange Cassidy is supposed to be competitive with the world heavyweight champion Jon Moxley. Why is he having so much trouble with the lackey and what is basically the number 5 in a 5 person faction? We've seen this with Swerve and other so called "top level" babyfaces, especially recently, in AEW. The babyfaces are booked terribly in angles and matches but honestly when it comes to the matches it's mostly is up to the wrestlers. I'm one of few people that actually likes Orange Cassidy and I believe he has a role in AEW and it's fine by me if he gets a shot at the gold (though I hope and believe he won't win) but telling his friends not to be there is just plain stupid and barely beating an enhancement talent is weak."

The crowd was dead, the match itself just felt slow, the production was annoying with tons of camera cuts, and the post match school yard "beatdown" (more of teasing OC while they pushed him around shot from an overhead angle for some reason) that OC immediately no sold while the camera missed him putting on his glasses to show Mox in a dark empty poorly lit arena. The vibes are not good."

[7.0] "Surprised at the low rating on this match. I thought this was really good honestly. Great performances from both guys but especially Yuta. His work on OC's neck was super vicious and of course made all the better by Cassidy's selling of it. Loved the moment when he just started standing on OC's neck on the exposed second turnbuckle. Cassidy is able to overcome this though and after some struggle and some great back and forth between the two, he's able to just barely get the win with a roll up. Just a very good TV match overall, I honestly don't know what people aren't seeing in this. ***3/4"

[6.0] "Solid main event, a lot of storytelling between Cassidy and Yuta, and despite the ending being kinda bad here, the match was alright, I liked several moments, and I think it delivered a good message to build the Full Gear main event... When the action started to go next level, that weird ending abruptly ended the match, which is a shame, but I was enjoying - {**3/4}"

[5.0] "It's just not the kind of match you would want as your main event (especially on a go-home-show). Wheeler is in my book a very solid mid-carder but he just doesn't move me. Orange Cassidy can be in this sort of setting since he has some edge to his character and can back it up in the ring but this just wasn't it. Beyond that: the crowd just didn't give a shit"

[6.0] "This was alright, but I felt they went about this the wrong way. Orange Cassidy should have been more dominant against Wheeler Yuta, and present himself as a major threat to Jon Moxley and the Death Riders, but instead he barely squeaked by Yuta, essentially presenting him as having little to no chance against Moxley, which most think anyway. The PPV match will likely be great, but I'd rather go into it with the thought that Cassidy would have a decent chance to win, no-one will expect him to now."
