Kyle O'Reilly vs. Matt Riddle

[9.0] "Another incredible effort by Riddle and O'Reilly right here in the main event of this EVOLVE 84 show, in life there are taxes, death and Matt & Kyle who deliver something incredible every time they meet in a ring, this match was no exception to the rule and was a confirmation of what we could already think of their chemistry. The match was everything we've loved about their previous encounters, your usual awesome Riddle & O'Reilly awesome & stiff grappling action that we're passionate about and captivated by because it's done with such mastery that it makes you speechless, and the crowd went along with it so everything was really in place for it to be a success and it was. It was another showcase for them to develop all their knowledge of the style that they use so well in a wrestling ring, and I will never get tired of seeing them compete together, although I think I would put their OTT match a little bit better than this one."

[10.0] "One of the best evolve matches from 2017. These two have faced-off before, in PWG and OTT. They did wrestle Matt Riddle's style of match, but the great thing about it is that O'Reilly has a very similar style, so these two had great chemistry. Really enjoyed this technical and hard-hitting contest, must watch!"

[9.0] "My favorite match between these two. This was in EVOLVE so they kept the masturbatory indie stuff to a minimum and kept this as intense as possible. Lots of great stuff that you would expect from these two including grappling and strikes. A similar complaint to their OTT match was Kyle working Riddle's arm only for the latter to not sell it later on. Fantastic finishing stretch almost put this over as a MOTYC, ****1/2."
