[7.0] "Fantastic moment, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin only needed three matches in WWE to become tag team champions, and it only took them two weeklies to do it. Yes, the match was a bit overbooked, but I liked how it was handled. The Motors got a very strong positioning, and at the same time, their second win on the show looked realistic, because the Samoans were overconfident and managed to make enemies with their actions. ***1/4"

It was already surreal to see them even debuting on SmackDown, but this is just insane territory. Not only did they win the Tag Team Titles, but they did so in their third match in the company. You absolutely love to see it."

Still, despite the awesome moment of seeing MCMG crowned as tag champs in WWE, the match itself wasn't all that good."

[6.0] "As a wrestling match there is really not much to say about this one. It was pretty basic, but that's due to this being more of a segment than a match, and that segment was just f'n amazing! Solo coming out to get rid of the danger of the MCMG as soon as possible, Sabin and Shelley not backing down from a challenge, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns coming in all their glory to take some retribution on their family, then Jey Uso returning the favor from Monday by screwing the GOD out of their titles, the MCMG being truly recognized by WWE as one of the greatests tag teams ever by awarding them the titles on their third match in the company, and on top of that, The Usos forgiving each other and reuniting, with Roman looking from the stage with that stare of disbelief and hope that he might have his true tribe back and now there's a strong chance to fight the usurpers. One of the best endings of the year in WWE, as a segment I would give this a solid 9, as a wrestling match this gets *** 1/4."

Skull & Bones and 1 2 3 we have new tag champs."

[5.0] "Wanted to give this more because its MCMG and they deserve their moment. But it was cheapened, watered down and stolen as a plot device for the budget bloodline. They didnt even get to celebrate. Hopefully this is now a statement of intent and we get a legitimate tag team getting proper tag matches and the division is treated properly."

[4.0] "Waaaay too early to put the belts on the MCMG's. Half of the crowd didnt even know who they were when they first came out. I get it, they're one of the most revered tag teams around, but they have done approximately zero in the WWE and should have had at least a small build up. To be honest they shouldn't have even beaten DIY in their second match let alone being gifted the belts like that. Absolutely terrible booking decision"
BigReedus wrote on 27.10.2024:

[5.0] "[2.5*] You know, this was not even a proper match lol. I absolutely loved everything that happened from MCMG vs DIY (the clear MOTN) on, it was just so fucking hot and perfectly booked, made me feel like I was in the Attitude Era. Jimmy appeared first, then Roman came in with all his unmatchable aura and at the end we got Mr. Yeetman with a generational pop returning to the fam. I popped for every single thing that happened, it was just perfect TV, I had the time of my life. However, as a wrestling match, absolutely nothing happened inside the ring lol. It was pretty different than Rock vs Mankind where we got a very good match before the all-timer SCSA return, you know? So if I was being 100% impartial, I would have given it an even lower rating. However, I loved the segment so much that I will rule this wrestling match as decent!"

[6.0] "*** (5.5/10) If you often say that WWE is more often than not so predictable, I know you're lying if you tell me you predicted for MCMG to walk out of Brooklyn with the tag titles! Nobody predicted it, at least, not for tonight. What a moment! But, as for the match: well, Bloodline shenanigans will always divide opinions. There wasn't much to the in-ring workrate. But the storytelling was top tier, as is always the case when the Bloodline is involved."
Some Guy wrote on 26.10.2024:
[5.0] "Decent match for the tag team titles. There wasn't a whole lot of actual wrestling between MCMG and The Bloodline, as within a couple of minutes all the shenanigans started. Jimmy, Jey and Roman all came out to attack The Bloodline. Why Jimmy and Jey needed to come out wearing hoodies and masks, I don't know. Regardless, MCMG get the win with the Skull and Bones to become the new champions. The right move, but the match was whatever. 5/10"

[6.0] "The rating of the match cant be indicative of how happy I am for Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley and how good the main event angle actually was overall. A surprise title match coupled with a shock title change, them immediately follower by huge developments within the Bloodline saga makes for one of the best SmackDown moments of the year. The match itself was wrestled at guns-a-blazing pace, concluding with a monumental upset by the Machine Guns winning the tag titles in only their second appearance and third match in WWE together. Im not sure what the ultimate reasoning is for the title change despite maybe just wanting to add further fuel to the Bloodline drama, but this was booked expertly. The Machine Guns sold like crazy for both Tongans and Jacob Fatu when he got involved, but after a surprise appearance by Roman Reigns distracted the Bloodline, they took advantage hitting Skull & Bones to win. Got the firework treatment and Triple H pointing post after and everything. Families were fed. Tears were shed. (***)"

End up loosing because the OG Bloodline get some payback. This was done very well actually. WWE has handled MCMG amazingly. 2 weeks in and there already the champs and having a division built around them. 3 stars"

The OG Bloodline helped them out by taking out The New Bloodline. But it was a great moment to see Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin get what they deserve and thats to be on the mountain top of the WWE Tag Division. What a way to end the show I loved it."

[6.0] "Like the guy below said, this was more of an angle than a match, but it was a pretty damn good one, and ended the episode on a really high note, because the deliveries were flawless, we had an impromptu #1 contender cash-in by MCMG, which is already very exciting, one of the few times that 'right here, right now' actually worked, and the title match didn't needed to be around workrate, we already had that with MCMG vs DIY, so why not build some stories? And that's what they did, with Roman and Jimmy appearing to take Solo and Jacob with them, and then Jey Uso, finally reuniting with the OG Bloodline to clean the house and help MCMG win the titles. The booking here was perfect, and it was super enjoyable to watch, everything definitely connected - {***}"

This is a match that will put a big smile on your face, even if it's a bit light on in ring content."
