[8.0] "So underrated, this is a good main event to build the BCC storyline for Wrestledream. You can clearly see they know eachother well and achieve to show all the strengths they possess."
[5.0] "I guess this is Danielson's last full-time Dynamite match. Very house show-y stuff from everyone here and it's all probably to keep Danielson protected given his health status and big match to follow."
[4.0] "[4.0] This is 15 minutes long but felt like eternity when watching it live. Like who is clamoring to watch Yuta take on Claudio and PAC. None of them can cut a decent promo and only PAC has got some charisma. Danielson is wasting his time trying to make Yuta happen. He is a black hole of excitement. This was genuinely so boring. I wouldn't complain too kuch if this was shorter but a 15 minutes tag match main event that isn't even about tag titles is horrible. The post match brawl between Mox and Danielson was poorly shot."
[8.0] "Obviously it could have been better and they were holding back a bit for the PPV, but this was still really good. It told the story it wanted to tell and the wrestling was all good stuff. Post match was quality as well."
[5.0] "Maybe there's something to Danielson actually being injured because everyone was taking it easy here. Can't blame them but still this was pretty weak for a main event with these guys."
[6.0] "its a alright main event just didnt feel much heat or anything from the crowd or just from the match. Descent action i guess but nothing we havent seen 100 times. Really enjoy pac and claudio as a tag team though they go together great. 3.25 stars"
[6.0] "A match mostly carried by the ongoing BCC drama which played it a little safe elsewhere, especially where Danielson was involved. Claudio's stomps to him looked especially light. I also didn't really buy the ending with Pac tapping out so soon. With Danielson's needed surgery, the fact that they got the Nigel match out of the way so soon, and that they're still paying for The Final Countdown (you don't want to be doing that long-term), it all makes me think Danielson's retirement is coming sooner than the current drama surrounding that angle would indicate. There's a real chance he calls it a day full-time in his home state, even if I expect him to be at the 5th of January show in Japan, but with the BCC drama, Moxley's hidden motivations, and Christian Cage waiting to cash in his shot, the retirement story is flying slightly under the radar. That could also make a Danielson loss feel more surprising. It feels like there's a lot which could come to a head at WrestleDream."
[6.0] "[3.0*] Good Main Event! The post-match angle was a lot better than the match itself, it absolutely ruled. I was expecting more to be honest but it was harmless and fun to watch. I completely understand the slow paced in order to protect Bryan for the big match on Saturday tho."
[6.0] "Good main event, for television purposes it worked pretty well, the post-match angle between Mox and Bryan while Yuta was getting his ass kicked was great, and the match itself was very decent, a lot of cool moments, not the most exciting thing ever, but extremely functional... the ending stretch was very good - {***}"
[8.0] "They never got out of second gear in this match, but it was dripping with storytelling. Claudio really leaned into his big brother role with Wheeler Yuta, not wanting to hurt him and putting him in rest holds and moving him out of the way. Anytime Pac got his hands on Yuta, Claudio got involved to calm the situation down. Danielson didn't get the same treatment. He received the heaviest hits from Claudio & Pac as they tried to break him before Moxley gets his shot at the Dragon. A really telling moment from after the match was Claudio beating on Yuta, not giving Yuta anything he can't take and clearly beating himself up after every shot. Like an older brother hitting his younger brother for doing something stupid. After Danielson made the save, he prioritised the glory of the moment while Yuta was on the floor behind him literally reaching out to him for help. Despite their morals aligning, Claudio clearly cares for Yuta more than Danielson does."
[7.0] "Really good match. Action was as great as you'd expect from these 4 guys, with some cool interactions between Claudio and Yuta in particular. During the match, Claudio never once attacked Yuta, even when he had to break up his submissions. The match also ends as a result of both of them are hesitant to attack eachother, leading to both of them standing on the apron as Bryan gets the submission win on Pac. I'm usually not a fan of the whole wrestler refuses to attack other wrestler stuff, but here it's performed so well and is justified by how good the story is. Really good match to build up to Danielson's title match while also furthering tensions between Yuta and the BCC. ***3/4"
[5.0] "This didn't have much that was memorable. I get it, it's the last show before the PPV so the wrestlers aren't going to have a 5 star classic. The story was mostly around Wheeler Yuta who isn't on the PPV so I don't quite get the focus on him. Moxley didn't come in until the very end, and then he and Danielson brawled outside. It didn't make sense to me."
[7.0] "An extremely solid build-up tag to further the on-going storyline between the wrestlers involved. Textbook tag action with Danielson killing it."
[6.0] "A good match that did more to build up Danielson for the WrestleDream match, and did a good job in that as I can see a couple different outcomes there. The stuff with Yuta at the end could just be a red herring and hopefully so as I don't think it'll be worth the "heat" just to turn him and end Danielson's fulltime career. Anyway PAC and Claudio would be killer tag team champs was the main takeaway from this match as far as the action goes. Good stuff all around if a bit standard for this type of angle."
