[6.0] "Good TV match, the cruiserweight matches are rough around the edges on Nitro because they only have 8 minutes so they go out of their way to get all their spots in. Made the most of their time, surprised Psicosis lost his first ever match on TV"

[8.0] "You get a weird moment where it goes to the annoying split screen where Rey Mysterio talks about Hulk Hogan and it kinda gives the wierd "whenever Hogan isn't on the screen, people should be asking, Wheres Hogan? " kinda vibe they seem to be going with. I get why Hogan is such a big focus on this show given how big his heel turn was, but this was just way over the top and makes the match that's happening less important and Eddie and Psychosis deserve far more than that! With that said, this was an excellent match with some excellent psychology where Psi consistently targeted Eddie's injured arm and Eddie's selling for it all match was excellent. Psychosis instantly felt unique in WCW with his heel presentation here and it actually felt like it was unlikely Eddie was going to win this. He does make a great comeback when he still lands the Frog Splash and guts it out. The Cruiserweight division was looking stacked!"

[8.0] "This was a darn good match for free TV in 1996, as Eddy sold consistently throughout and made Psi look good before picking up the victory. Both wrestlers gained something from this as a result and it helped get them both more over"

As usual they mix technical and high flying together to bring us an excellent TV match. Very good sequences and Guerrero proves here why he's one of the best in WCW at this point. Amazing."

[7.0] "I like this match, it's short but with solid action. Guerrero and Psychosis go all over, trying to get the pinfall many times. Also the conclusion is well executed with a great Frog Splash. ***1/2"
