Glad that FIP got better as the events moved on, still excited to watch other events that I have found through eBay."

I suppose he didn't exaclty leave AEW super popular but it's still Jericho. He looks pretty good compared to when he left but also I'm a bit unsure of what he will/can do in AEW at the moment. Anyways the rest of the show was decent. An okay trios match to start, a great match between Pac and Ospreay, a skippable women's trios match and a decent main event. Does a good enough job at setting up more of Dynasty."

[5.0] "I'm not going to dock GCW for it this time as their production is usually great but it was really poor here. I'll chalk it down to the venue and I hope the promotions running FSW Arena during Mania weekend don't have the same issues. That out of the way. This was a fine but generally forgettable show for the most part. Thankfully, this had a big, meaty main event. I'll never complain at one of those. Bear's clearly learnt a lot from Tremont, this match is worked very Tremont style with elements from both Bear and Manders, too. That's a positive, not many guys do a main event like Matt Tremont. **3/4."

Otherwise it's more like your bog standart Collision, very little interesting things happening with some average to underwhelming matches in the midst of this terrible, rushed and messy Dynasty build. Overabundance of squash matches are such a terrible trope and some top angles are not hitting anywhere near as they should."

The opening segment was absolutely horrendous and made me lose faith in this company's creative (and TKO but I never had confidence in them in the first place). Really? bringing Pat McAfee to a 20 year story. A WrestleMania main event is involving Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll. what are we doing bro, they actually found a way to ruin the match that so many have been looking forward to, congrats WWE, hope you get your money. Rhea vs Michin was mid and there was the brawl afterward for the 3rd straight week, yeah they made IYO come out but there's nothing creative about this build whatsoever. Uncle Howdy vs Tama Tonga was meh, just hoping they end this Wyatts/MFT feud, (they wont) but I am interested in a Tama Tonga face turn. The segment with Trick, Melo, & Sami was decent but the crowd definitely hijacked this one by booing Sami, really made things feel uncomfortable for a bit, especially with Sami trying to cut a face promo. that just shows how bad this booking is if a beloved babyface is getting booed out of the building. Aleister vs Matt was mid, the women's tag was fine, same ending rinse and repeat though. The tag title match was very fun to watch, I like a little comedic run with Danhausen, wouldn't hurt. Cody's promo wasn't planned I believe (they know they messed up) but added nothing much to the already ruined feud (except for his hate for Disco Inferno). The main event was a great match yes, but it was dumb at the same time because why would they make another match if nothing was going to change, they heard the backlash and did nothing about it. 2nd week in a row where Smackdown has the 'worst episode of the year' contender, unacceptable."

[7.0] "[8.0] This show was a little off. Nothing bad, but again just a bit off on the entire producing end i would say. The opening with the return of Jericho was quite possibly the oddest aspect of the show. Mainly because of the pyro effect as I'm not sure if the off-cues on the pyro and sounds were intentional or not; so that threw the start of the show and the return of Jericho. Which was great - don't get me wrong I'm glad he's back - but I also think with how the crowd was all night, setting the tone for Jericho's return was also an added odd aspect. Speaking of which, the crowd was just like Fresno, CA and was not good at all. There were absolutely no chant-generals in the crowd and it seemed like there was no emotions or interest in many of the matches aside from the "USA vs Canada" MJF/Speedball match. Which is so crazy because these matches were just banging! I have noticed this has been a continuous pattern with the live crowds in Winnipeg - for both WWE and AEW - are always dead. All of the other matches were great to amazing aside from the women's match. However, just by the sheer fact that even though we only got 4 matches within a 2hr block and the majority of them each could headline a TNA, NXT or any indy promotion PPV and were more than 15min, all in one night, really gave this a bump in my rating. Plus the promo segments with MJF/Omega, Mox/Ospreay, and Cope/Cage did make me excited as to how everything unfolds in the coming 2 weeks."

Insane ticket prices, a watered-down product, obsession with mainstream media, cutting talent that was being pushed, the Las Vegas fixation... this is all classic TKO/Endeavor. TKO's greed is killing the product, devaluing talent, and squeezing fans dry. You can feel the insecurity backstage. I wouldn't be surprised if Cody's promo had Triple H's approval. Feels like there's a cold war going on backstage between him and TKO. Wouldn't even shock me if he's gone by the end of the year. But let's be real, that doesn't excuse Triple H either. His booking has been falling apart for a while now. What he's doing with Melo and Dragunov is straight-up disrespectful. These two have been carrying SmackDown for months and won't even make WrestleMania. The mess across multiple feuds just shows how badly WWE needs major changes in the booking team. This is the worst Road to Mania of the decade!"

[5.0] "Basically, a pretty solid B-tier PPV with moments that dip just above and below the average quality mark. The 'Big Men' matchups, in particular, come across as downright weak. The bouts featuring Kane, Henry, and Big Daddy V, as well as the stuff with The Great Khali, are anything but impressive. On top of that, despite a talented roster, there's a women's match in the final third of the show that's far too short. If you don't take the ladies seriously, you might as well skip it altogether. The opener is okay, and Michaels vs. Kennedy is on a comparable level, though that's rather disappointing given the potential. Triple H and Jeff Hardy just don't have the right chemistry, even if the effort is there. The title matches for the two major belts are actually okay. Orton vs. Jericho, however, suffers significantly from the lousy finish, and the Mainer, on the one hand, gets short shrift and, on the other, doesn't really push the limits. Basically, the show is booked plausibly based on the card, but the options given to the protagonists simply aren't a good starting point for putting together an exciting event. And that's exactly what they fail to do. A mid-tier event where the untapped potential is palpable in almost every aspect."

Rhea and Michin put on an enjoyable back and forth match, the men's tag was some incredibly fun silly nonsense to provide some levity, Sami, Trick and Melo had a fantastic promo segment, the womens tag was some good action from 4 great comletitots with an actual finish, although i would rather lyra wasnt eating the pin. Cody's second appearance was a great promo segment, the main event from Melo and Sami was very well executed, even if I'm not a huge fan of the outcome. There were a lot of decent things on this show once you get past Pat mcafee. Still has the usual wwe problem of ads, too many recaps, way too long on entrances and sponsorships etc"

If I could, I'd give this a zero solely because of the McAfee/Orton alliance. What the hell kind of advice does RETIRED NFL KICKER PAT MCAFEE have to give to 14x WORLD CHAMPION RANDY ORTON that he hasn't already heard before? It would've made more sense if the caller was Bob Orton, Kevin Owens... but no, for some reason, it wasn't. HHH himself could've given me 50 guesses as to who I thought the mystery caller was and McAfee would've been my 49th guess. I feel awful for anyone who could only afford a ticket for one night of WrestleMania, because now those poor souls don't know which night Orton vs. Rhodes will fall on, which will be filled to the brim with absolute shenanigans and bullshit that nobody asked for. The story between Rhodes and Orton goes back nearly two decades--they were in a stable together for two years. Orton even fought Dusty for Christ's sake! How bad are the ticket sales for WrestleMania looking that this is the bullshit they're doing? It's not going to convince people to buy them. And then don't even get me started on Melo coming out for a rematch against Sami and losing clean. Trick vs. Sami very easily could've been a non-title match. Melo could've fought Ilja again at WrestleMania--with a stip--retained, and then Trick could've challenged Melo for the US title at Backlash. Everyone gets their moment to shine at the biggest show of the year without anyone being left off the card. Is that so damn hard to do? The creative team needs to burn and be replaced with competent, in-touch writers, and this TKO partnership needs to end."

[1.0] "It's McAfee? Really, That's all you really have to say but I can say more, The guy on the phone could have been so many different people, Flair, Rock, Bob Orton, But it's MCAFEE? This feels like some WCW Vince Russo writing. But sure lets leave L.A Knight in a match against a YouTuber. The Matches weren't good either. I want to watch WWE, But it's getting so difficult when THIS is what we get. I do think that the US Title (Despite another celebrity I don't care about being involved) and Danhausen are still somewhat interesting, But McAfee was right, The WWE is not good anymore."

[5.0] "[5.0] I thought the show was reasonably entertaining albeit patchy. I thought the Big Show match was the best of the evening with a unique finish, and then the main event was a reasonable brawl which looked different because of the collapsed ring. I find the style of WWE action around this period really boring - its largely just punches, clotheslines and slams with little to no actual wrestling. Very simplified fare with a focus on doing the big moves like the RKO etc., rather than it looking like a competitive sporting contest. Most of the moves seemed to be delivered with no resistance from the opponent at all, and I find myself zoning out a lot. In terms of commentary around this era its some of the worst I've ever heard. OK, Michael Cole is playing a heel character at this point but its not entertaining its just plain obnoxious. Then you have a muted, face Jerry Lawler and Booker T alongside him, each adding next to nothing. Booker just spouts the most obvious, inane stuff which is almost always preceded with "Am gonna tell you something..", its mind-numbing to listen to."

[] "The Randy Orton segment was a huge letdown. The way it was built up made it seem like a major return or surprise was coming, but revealing Pat McAfee instead felt underwhelming and out of place. It didn't deliver the impact fans were expecting, and it ended up hurting the entire show's momentum."

[6.0] "This show felt like a setup for bigger things to come and I'm at least somewhat invested in where certain stories are going. Unfortunately, asides a stellar tag title match and a pretty solid main event, the potential directions were more compelling than a lot of the action (which I know is by design but still...). The tv title match was especially a let down. I'm very much curious about how forbidden door plays out with Kidd playing company heel, but more importantly, Ospreay asking the united empire for help with the death riders. I wonder if Don Callis ties to the group will matter and if Aussie open in their current form become a factor but idk if I can trust these bookers to tell a compelling and cohesive story with all these narrative threads asides delivering some cool matches. I'm new to the BOSJ so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out and KOB have new contenders. Takeshita's booking seems lost at sea in both companies though. As for Newman, he has his strengths but as a full package I'm not completely sold, which is why a compelling story will be needed for this run to feel satisfactory and at least the pieces are there so we'll see."

Cody Rhodes being told to come back out to try and change opinions of the fans didnt help. It also didnt help for both the face and heel sides of the story to admit in Kayfabe that WrestleMania sucks this year."

Aleister black had an alright match I guess. The women's tag team match was decent, but Lyra getting pinned from such a weak move... mind you just last year she kicked out of two man handle slams. Then the tag team championship, Danhausen is funny, but look at the talent in this match, nothing crazy, wasn't amazing. Then the main event, a really enjoyable match, But it's looking like we are going into Wrestlemania without EITHER of the previous two U.S Champions. Are you kidding me, Ilja and Carmelo Hayes put their bodies on the line week in and week out just to miss the mania card entirely? You could've done a fatal 4 way or a layup would've been trick vs Melo. They have history, no need to over complicate it. But NAH, here's Sami Zayn, who's too good to be a midcard champion, and not good enough to be a main eventer. Awful show. Generationally Bad."

[3.0] "Matches lasting over 5 minutes, but none of them were particularly good. While it's nice that there were fewer interruptions than in recent shows, it's still settling for very little. The biggest problem with this episode is obviously the mediocre segments (only Danhausen is somewhat funny, but keep him away from the titles for now) and the disappointment of seeing McAfee take a role that no one initially wanted. I imagine it's a smokescreen to hide something more exciting, because I don't see who's excited about this nostalgia-driven promotion for the Attitude Era. In any case, there's reason to be disappointed with this episode, even if the coming weeks confirm the smokescreen theory. Match quality: 2.25/5. Angles and off-match segments: 0/3. Bonus/penalty: unworthy of a road to WrestleMania -0.75. Total: 3.5/10. Show watched on Netflix (FR)."

Very good main event with an impressive performance from Speedball Bailey, and all the athleticism and action you'd expect from Omega and Ricochet (who apparently hasn't faced any consequences besides a week off TV...hmmm. Not sure about that) in the opener. Points mainly deducted for only one women's match, again, and the biggest looming worry about this show: the return of Jericho and what that'll mean for the pacing and other people's TV time going forward. I hope they've learned lessons about why people got so sick of him before, otherwise this could be a "defeat from the jaws of victory" situation. Otherwise, no big complaints."

I kind of read this as a dig at the Sami-Ilya-Melo US open challenge matches but what's that got to do with Cody and the world title? This also undercuts Orton's heel turn. Why does he need a semi-retired colour commentator to remind him to be the viper? Other bad spots on the show - the Jade/Rhea build is still bad even adding Iyo to it, Howdy needing MFT infighting to get his lantern back and the women's tag match build, coming out of War Games I thought the women's tag division was going to become a highlight, and for some weeks it was, but overall it hasn't. I will give them a point each for Danhausen, Trick and Carmelo they had good nights."

I felt ashamed to be a wrestling fan. That opening is the most tragic, Orton's character just died in my eyes, that was brutal. I loathe McAfee, his nonsense profanity-filled "promo" was sad, shitting on talent, shitting on the company, like that's crazy. If I had Wrestlemania tickets this would've made me sell them. The Only thing remotely good in this show was the Trick/Melo/Zayn segment and Danhausen's hilarious bit. You bet your ass i'm not watching next week. Want to bring back the attitude era? Start by creating a product that doesn't cost so much, tickets and merch were cheap back then."

I would say the most memorable match and moment is the Foley and Edge hardcore match and the flaming table spot. Both world title matches were definitely underwhelming by Mania standards but were both very good matches and Rey Mysterio winning the WHC is the other great memorable moment on this card. The Miz-Hausen-Wilson segment and match eas pure gold of entertainment, one of the rares matches ive ever seen. The others matches on the card was just average, but wasnt a bad show. I know the criticism and i legit agree with that, PatMacfee entering on the Storyline between Cody x Randy its pure garbage. But the entire show, not!"

Orton isn't a heel when we hear this thing. Once again, Orton is repeating himself too much with this 'Cody asked me to be Orton Viper' stuff. Pat's appearance is just a joke. Orton turned thanks to McAfee? What on earth is this rubbish? Pat wants to change the business because it's bad: who are you to say that? We're giving credit to a man who's done nothing in wrestling. In short, they've killed the Orton/Cody feud. Rhea/Michin was decent. Michin showed some good moves like the poisonrana and the submission hold. Rhea was good as usual. Howdy/Tonga was random. There was only one wrestler in the ring: Tama Tonga. He did everything in that match whilst Howdy showed almost nothing. Black/Cardona was average. That match was just filler with two wrestlers who aren't interesting at all right now. Black was decent. The Trick/Melo/Zayn segment is one of the few highlights of this show. Melo was consistent in demanding a rematch following last week's controversy. Sami hesitating to grant him the match was well done. Bayra/Charlexa was decent. The in-ring action was good with a few tag-team moves. Finally, a proper finish. The WepaTruth/AwesomeToxic match was poor. The in-ring action was uninteresting and the ending was just bizarre. Poor tag team division. Cody's promo was a bit random, despite the line about being disappointed by the reveal at the start of the show. Yes, we got the Cody we wanted, but the opening segment had such a negative impact on the feud that it's just not interesting. Melo/Zayn is the match of the night. Not as good as last week's match, but the wrestling is still just as good. Zayn was different, with a more villainous attitude. The finish is good, with Zayn taking advantage of Melo's injury to hit him with a Helluva Kick. What they're doing with Sami at the moment is very good; he manages to make himself hated and wins in controversial fashion, but there's a problem. They've taken Carmelo Hayes off the WM card, even though he's been excellent since the start of the year and thoroughly deserved his spot at WM. The backstage segments were uninteresting as usual (except for the one between Solo and Tama)."

New Japan's tag division is their best asset currently and everything the champions are in currently is a resounding success. ****1/4."

One of the most tone deaf booking decisions made, which was made by Ari Emmanuel. It's ruined the Wrestlemania feud and the only saving grace is that they continue this after Mania and let Cody and Randy take full control of the story. Sami Zayn retaining the US title was a final FU to all the fans for the night, although it loooked like he was just selling, hoping Melo is ok. But Trick vs Sami did not need the US title. Mcafee returnin and aggressively hating on the product might have been good had it not been locked inside of an IWC incel routine and tagged onto a painfully poor Orton and Rhodes build. The attempt made by Cody to smooth it out later in the show was some of the most painful viewing possible and I feel sorry for all the talent involved. They are doing their best to turn turds into chocolate but the smell lingers and the flavour is unmistakable. A fully deserved 0/10"

[4.0] "I very much enjoyed all the US title build segments and thought everyone is playing their role perfectly pretty much, although obviously it built to a downer ending with Melo losing due to injury, but that's fine. Way too much filler and crap. Women's Tag Feud I enjoyed this week because they have totally removed the Bellas - here's an idea - NEVER BRING THEM BACK. I enjoyed the Rhea vs Jade (despite the almighty struggle on the Razor's Edge) build especially with the injection of Iyo! The Cody-Randy stuff I'm torn on. I think Pat's a good heel, BUT IT HATED THE CONTENT, THAT WAS SO TERRIBLE ESPECIALLY ENCOURAGING "WHAT" CHANTS, I don't think you need that character on TV and making those points is counter productive. Cody's promo I really liked, but doing it in Randy's hometown is nuts. Randy's promo work was fine. Bigger issue is as an Attitude Era fan, Randy Orton and John Cena is exactly what drove so many fans away form the product. Making Randy the avatar for those fans is insane. Biggest issue however is that this is a three hour show and the midcard is utter dross. Miz, Solo, Howdy, just spinning their wheels. Why are they on TV? Not to mention the endless recaps."

If it isnt was a road to Wrestlemania i will take 2/10 but knowing that this was a 3rd last smackdown to Wrestlemania - i can only give 0.5/10 so its going to 0/10 cause i cannot place that halfs and theres more arguments to 0 than 1"
