[5.0] "The opener continued Greg Excellent's excessive and nuisible comedy, but at least it was kept short. Kimber/Colon was a messy angle, kicked off a counterintuitive match that buried Kimber Lee while making Alex Colon look like crap and a crappy babyface to boot, followed by a Runaways/Loco that felt very paint-by-numbers, but at least was kept clean and puts over the champions without a hitch. Cole/Drake had a lot of name value and you could see that Drake Younger puts effort in, but honestly this was all on Adam Cole who selflessly carried Drake Younger into a good match and should be praised heavily for his performance against a struggling coworker. Callihan/Hyde was yet another awesome performance from Sami Callihan, looking like a savage beast that conquers all obstacle and gained another huge victory to cement his Ace position. The angle with DJ Hyde & Matt Tremont was a way to plant early seeds for their feud, but mostly to shove-in a standard pompous Matt Tremont promo that feels very forced but somehow works with this crowd. The Trios Match was fun, but could have used a little bit more all-out action to be really effective. Homicide/Sabian was a rather mindless brawl with a rotten finish, really not a good follow-up to Kingston/Joker. The Triple Threat Match was a decent pseudo main event, but the abysmal booking needlessly muddies the waters and was rejected by a pissed off crowd. Consequently, the Gulak/Vortekz main event had to contend with a restless crowd that paid no attention and constantly chanted random things, ignoring the great job by Drew Gulak and is gang to build up a solid wrestling match, garner heat with their antics and feed the champion a good comeback to take the victory, but the crowd simply would not give them a chance and appreciate their craftsmanship. The show is weird, has high and lows, feeling damn average and not quite the anniversary extravaganza it should be, as the company is in transition right now."
