[7.0] "The crowd was dead tonight, which definitely hurt the atmosphere, but the in-ring work was solid across the board. Hangman vs. Joe being confirmed for the World Title at WrestleDream is a great call; those two always deliver. As for the Trios division, maybe The Opps will defend their titles again sometime soon, but who really knows with how things move lately. Still, a decent show carried by strong wrestling despite a lifeless audience."

[7.0] "Man, can't believe it's been six years already, what a ride. The opening of the show really felt like a love-letter to the (specially day-one) fans, getting Elite melodrama, a fun trios match and some chaotic brawls and the video package. But I gotta say, the timing for the first part of the show was really weird, all the post-match angles felt kinda dragged and the fact they replayed basically the entire Andrade return 10 minutes after it happened was kinda weird. Backstage things were still very good and it's only the in-ring action that bothered me, Mercedes/Harley and Mark Briscoe were great, El Clon debut and Jurassic Express/Andrade not so much. Things change a lot after Samoa Joe and Hangman's angle, the best thing by far in this. Match was super fun, the brawl was genius and both interviews were fantastic, they are absolute genius and got me sold in only a few minutes. Crowd bothered me a bit with their chants and they ruined Toni's promo. Backstage bits were great too in the second half besides the weak matches. We only get good again in the main event, Yuta attacking Stat is fucking beast and all the spots were very good, Death Riders have been amazing lately and it was a tremendous ending to the show."

[6.0] "I thought this was mostly okay even though the second half especially was pretty underwhelming. Hangman vs Joe feels incredibly thrown together, which is the case for pretty much everything Hangman has done since All In. With so many PPVs this time of year, it feels like filler until they get to whatever Hangman's real feud will be (likely MJF). I'm sure it'll be a good match but there's something else which may harm Hangman's already lacklustre title reign. Despite spending so much time in the void that is the trios division recently, Joe is still very much over with live audiences. There's a very good chance he'll have the crowd's support, even if they make him a bit heelish leading up to it. Don's group is starting to get comically large and they only really have the story of growing the faction and the rivalry between Okada and Takeshita. AEW had bad luck with the Hologram injury and that led to a kind of crappy debut from El Clon in which the commentators had to pretend they couldn't notice the obvious difference in bodies between the two men, nor the red gear. I thought that segment sucked, but as much shit as I've given some of AEW's stories over the years, no other storytelling medium has as many things which can go wrong on a week to week basis as pro wrestling. They did what they could with a bad situation. Now I guess we'll see if they pivot the entire Hologram/Clon feud onto Orange Cassidy."

[8.0] "It was a fairly decent show. Various angles and set ups left me generally quite pleased and excited for the coming months for AEW. I hadn't realised I was nostalgic for the Jurassic Express until it happened. I loved their run in and the little touch with Kenny not forgetting what Jack Perry had done as the Scapegoat character. The opening match that preceded this was fun too. The story of the night seemed to be about the growth of the Don Callis family, with the return of Andrade and Hologram's clone joining. Andrade's return was a shock. The interactions between Hangman and Joe to set up that feud and match was good. I am enjoying seeing Kris Statlander finally get the spotlight and setting up her and Toni in a one on one rematch makes sense. Overall, a good episode."

[9.0] "Fun show for the 6th Anniversary. Good opener with Kenny & Brodido with the win over the Bucks and Alexander. The post match return of Andrade was excellent. I didn't have that on my bingo card. One of the best in the industry Kyle Fletcher thank God bests Orange Cassidy. Hangman and the Opps win another trios match, but stuff goes sideways after as Joe's ego gets the best of him in an altercation with Hanger. Toni Storm in a gritty match with Tay Melo, and the GOA knock off The Swirl. The main event is what held me back from giving this show a 10."

[8.0] "A very eventufl and thrilling episode (unlike last week's show) with lots of developments, set-ups and really good matches top to bottom. The show kicked off with a really funny angle revolving the Young Bucks turning into Broke Bucks (again) after Nick gambled all of their money away. Brodido/Omega vs. Alexander/Bucks was a really good opening match. Very chaotic and fun. Post-match angle was filled with stuff; first we got Jurassic Express saving Omega from a beatdown and fighting with the Bucks and, then, we got the return of Andrade El Idolo to take out Omega. Honestly, Andrade is the funniest wrestler ever. Kudos to him; a real beast. Him vs. Omega will move me deeply. Fletcher vs. Cassidy was a great match; I remember them having a pretty weak a few years ago, it's crazy how things have turned around in so little time. The DCF looks crazy with Andrade and El Clon; fucking crazy stuff. Opps/Hangman vs. Death Riders was a really solid match. The Death Riders are the most entertaining on TV. Joe/Hangman stuff really stole the show; raw, gritty, real, intense, fucking amazing work from both men. The highlight of the show for me. Lots of interesting set-ups with Harley wanting to team with Monč and Okada and Takeshita teaming up next week. Toni vs. Tay was decent. We gotta kill everyone who chanted "what" at Toni, though; fucking idiots. Toni vs. Kris should be fun, tho. Swirl vs. GOA was alright; MVP was great on the mic afterwards. Darby/Kris vs. Yuta/Marina was a great main event. Very fun and entertaining. Darby and Kris were a great team and the bump Marina took on the tacks... Shieeet. The closing angle with Moxley vowing to make Darby say "I quit" was dope; Moxley is so locked in, right now. He's fucking amazing. A flawless show that genuinely flew by. The action was top notch and the stories are progessing nicely. WrestleDream looks sexual. 8/10."

[7.0] "This was a very fine 6th Anniversary Episode for AEW. We saw some returns and matches being made for AEW WrestleDream. My moment of the night was Andrade making his return to AEW and aligning himself with the Don Callis Family. But other than that, a very passable episode for AEW."

[6.0] "AEW: where the best wrastler Glad that they put Cody on the anniversary video package, as well as Sting's cousin. The first half of the show was strong, including the return of Andrade, which it made me laugh at first, I don't if is gonna be a good thing or not. For the other surprise appearance, the arrive of Hologram Clone makes the whole angle messy even with the produced stuff and look, when he was revealed himself. However, I would like to see a more well booked and interested story of the Don Callis, at least it's lil more better than the Deathriders thing righ now, like on the one hand it shows how even more bigger and strong the group, and on the other it's already on the verge to have an internal disagreement and tension between Okada and Takeshita, so I'm intrigued about. It could be a good way to hype up, if they starting with some interviews/video vignettes around the Women's tag belts, like during the interview with Monč, before announcing the tournament. The rest of the show felt flat, before the Main Event which delivered at least."

The semi main event should have been on Collision and I say that as a fan of Blake Christian. Happy to see Dynamite make it to six years. Hopefully keeps going for a long time."

[8.0] "The 6th Anniversary of the best show on TV opens with Kenny omega and Brodido vs Josh Alexander and The Young bucks. Before the match we get a vignette of the Bucks now back with Cuttler outside a Casino as they talk about their entrance for tonight and Nick goes betting in the casino and loses all the money they have left and the Broke bucks are back. And it has an amazing transistiom to them in the ring with a jobber entrance. Fucking great match with a. Great post match as Kenny and the bucks looked at each other Josh jumps him and the bucks watch on conflicted until Jurassic express come out to confront the bucks and Perry gets some revenge and help beat down Josh as well and we then get a great promo from Kenny and the lights go out and my fucking demon Andrade is back and beats down Kenny and siding with The DCF. We then get a video package of the best moments of the last 6 years. We then get a backstage promo with Mark Briscoe talking about how he is moving forward after beating Max at all out and wants to focus on gold and is hoping orange wins tonight. We then go into the TNT title match. Kyle Fletcher your swag is too tough fucking great match and a good debut for El Clone and he joins the DCF. We then go backstage to Renee who interviews Mercedes and Mercedes is talking about her match next week but then she is interrupted by Harley and Mini Mone and Mercedes turns her down. We then go into the Death riders vs Hanger, Joe and Hobbs and we get more standard Death riders Aura farming. Another really good match and a tease of tension between Hanger and Joe with it boiling over. We then get backstage promos from both Jetspeed and Willow and FTR and Big Stoke and Kevin Knight calls out either cash or Dad for a singles match. We then get a promo from Hanger backstage with Renee and he calls out Joe for a title match at wrestledream. Then we go straight into Toni vs Tay. Pretty fun little match and then we get an excellent promo from Toni as always as she calls out Kris for a 1v1 title match (Fuck ass fans chanting what). We then get a package for Dralistico vs Eddie Kingston. We then go backstage where Joe accepts the challenge form Hangman and how he is and I quote "Going to fuck his ass" as always another great promo from Joe. We then go into GOA vs The Swirl. Pretty normal extended squash match probably went a minute or so too long though. A solid post match angle between THS and The Demand as they interacted for the first time since All Out and MVP calls them out for a Street fight for title Tuesday. We then get a Backstage promo with Stat who is now a combination of all her gimmicks as she accepts Toni's challenge. We then have Don with Okada and Take who Don forces to team up next week against Brodido for the tag belts which Take isn't happy with. We then go into the main event. Yeah this was a really fun main event with an excellent post match angle with a brawl between Toni and Kris and a great Promo from Mox to close the show. Yeah a great way to celebrate 6 years of Dynamite this show had great matches as well as some great promos and angles to build some great matches for wrestledream we also got the debut of El Clon which is sick and The return of Andrade one of my favourite wrestlers back in my favourite company and straight into a program with Kenny is so so cool. I was close to giving this show a nine but the two matches beofre the main event were lacking a touch and this show didn't have a match that went above and beyond what i thought it would do to over shadow the two weaker matches imo."

[8.0] "A very good Dynamite, setting a lot of things in place for Wrestledream. In terms of match quality, there's a lot of good stuff here. The opening trios match was solid and Kyle/OC was good even if it was slightly let down by the interferences. The standouts for me though were the great mixed tornado tag main event and the Death Riders trios match which was the best match on the show for me. There were a couple of unspectacular matches but they didn't really bring my enjoyment of the show down overall. There were also a fair share of great angles to set up some awesome looking matches for Wrestledream too. Perhaps the biggest thing to happen on this show was the return of Andrade after the opener. He attacks Kenny and aligns himself with the Don Callis Family, becoming that faction's 700th member. I would much rather him go on a singles run instead but its great to see him back regardless because he is a phenomenal wrestler. The next best thing on this show for me was the stuff between Hangman and Joe. There's tension between them throughout their match but it all kicks off after their victory when Hangman accidentally drops Joe's title whilst handing it to him. Joe responds in typical Joe fashion, taking this as a sign of disrespect and going after Hangman before security separates them. This results in Hangman challenging Joe to a title match at the PPV which should be sick. While this was a bit spontaneous, i thought this was a great way to set up a match between the two and the promos that they cut on eachother later in the show were also great too. The only other thing that gets announced for Wrestledream is Kris vs. Toni for the women's title which is a bit of a predictable match to run but one that should be great nonetheless. Overall this was a pretty great episode of Dynamite. Several good matches here and some awesome segments to build to what is looking like a fantastic Wrestledream card. MOTN - Adam Page & The Opps vs. Death Riders"

A 30 minute over run is taking the piss though. Biggest downside was Don Callis Family only adding two new members, they should be adding a minimum of 5 per show."

[6.0] "Look, it was good Dynamite. But for me, the big problem with Elite is that they have a lot of big groups of wrestlers who compete in tag team matches. If we have a feud between Adam and Jon, why not show Adam beating up one of the Death Riders' henchmen? Give us a solo match between Adam and Claudio, that would be great. We don't need a 3-on-3 match to move this storyline forward, it didn't do anything except for a stupid announcement of a match at WrestleDream that was completely unnecessary. Are they going to push this storyline with Joe further? That's ridiculous!"

[6.0] "AEW Dynamite - 6 Year Anniversary was a solid/okay show the mixed tag team main event was a great match as, well as the TNT TV title match between Cassidy vs Fletcher. The 6 man tag match was really good, so was Page/The Opps vs The Deathriders was good too. Storm vs Conti and The Demand vs Johnson/Christian were below average for The Demand/Storm having those matches going to long for the competition they were facing. Segments wise the Andrade return was a nice shocking return other segments didn't do anything for me. They didn't set up much for Title Tuesday going head to head with NXT."

[6.0] "The show started well before hitting a slump in the third and fourth matches and picking up steam with the main event. We might have expected slightly more memorable matches for the 6th anniversary, but it was overall enjoyable. Especially since, beyond the matches, we were treated to the well-timed return of Andrade, the arrival of The Clon, and some good promos from Toni Storm and MVP. I'm a little more skeptical about the choice of Samoa Joe and especially the way the rivalry with Hangman began. We'll see how it will develop between now and Wrestledream, but it's not off to the best possible start. Especially since there might have been other talent to showcase for a World Championship match on pay-per-view. In-ring quality: 2.75/5. Angles and non-match segments: 1.75/3. Bonuses/penalties: none. Overall: 6.5/10. Show seen on Triller TV."

"This was pretty good I think the main event was particularly strong. I have respect for Marina Shafir for enduring a very painful moment with thumb tacks in her feet. A lot of this show established future events for WrestleDream. I think the Toni Storm vs Kris Statlander match is a good idea both women have proven themselves well to have the match. Also the Don Callis Family it seems like half the roster is part of it, very large in number. This is not bad though. The Hangman vs Samoa Joe, even if it started with something simple as Hangman not handing him his belt with precision this is good enough. The fact that Samoa Joe is willing to blow up at any point and demand he is on equal footing with the champ, this was well done. Also it was good to see Andrade again this gives good precedent that other wrestlers who have left could return as well and it not be 100% over and done with. The only confusing part of the show was with fake Hologram and the audio being random and chaotic. I'm not sure if this was intentionally done or if genuine error on the sound team. During this segment I didn't really know what I was watching."

[7.0] "I enjoyed this episode. First the 'big' news of Andrade's return. I hardly care. The roster is so bloated, and so many guys of equal or greater ability are fighting for scraps of TV time (not to mention the ladies roster), and yet here comes a guy that is a proven issue everywhere he works right back into the company. So, whatever. Enjoy the midcard in two weeks. Opening and closing matches were the highlights for me, with some fun bits peppered throughout the middle. Mercedes segment with Harley was fun. Page's confusion over Joe freaking out was nice. Toni and Stat smiling at each other before throwing hands was fun. The middle matches were fine as story-progression vehicles and didn't overstay. A solid anniversary episode."

[8.0] "7.5/10, for once a pretty good episode of Dynamite. Opening segment with the Bucks was hilarious, and that trios match was very good. Always great to see Kenny back, the aftermath was surprising for once, Andrade is back. i just wish he wasn't forced into the DCF where he will be an afterthought just like Josh. Fletcher Cassidy was predictable, Holograms clone is dumb and was never going to pop anyone. The next 6 man tag was okay, but the pinpoint here is the Page Joe aftermath, Joe I think is a good opponent for Page bc he can talk, and always draw a feud, but let's be honest he just isn't believable to win anything. Toni Storm Melo was an ok segment, Storm cuts a good promo after. Takeshita Okada are tagging next week which is also good stuff, Takeshita Okada should be feud of the year, and they're building it up to be smtg huge. Demand vs Syndicate is continuing, feels like nobody rly cares. Darby Death rider main event was wild, love the Mox promo at the end telling Darby he doesn't know how he's going to do it but he will find a way to make him say I quit. Overall a pretty good and definitely entertaining episode of Dynamite."

[6.0] "A solid show but I wouldn't say it was anything special. The first hour had a heavy focus on Don Callis with Andrade and the renamed Arez being immediately added to his overloaded stable where he is the main focus of it. The opening match was pretty enjoyable but no other match stood out beyond solid. Two trios matches felt unnecessary and repetitive. Kenny Omega is seen not targeting Kyle Fletcher, the person who took him out. Adam Page's contenders feel very diminished with Samoa Joe at least being a former AEW Champion despite only having one singles match in almost three months. Daniel Garcia was given what was supposed to be a high profile heel turn and he is already losing here with his team. Follow up continues to be a problem within AEW."
JackElDestripador wrote on 02.10.2025:
[8.0] "It was a very solid show, combining shocking returns, high-level matches, and narrative development, creating an overall sense of a well-structured and exciting spectacle from start to finish. The return of Andrade "El Ídolo" and his alignment with the Don Callis Family generated an unexpected twist in Kenny Omega's narrative. Narrative tensions were sown: Page vs. Joe, Storm vs. Statlander, and Kyle Fletcher's possible future defenses. Very strong crowd reactions during the returns and nearfalls of the main matches reinforced the connection with the characters. This show more than lived up to the expectations of an anniversary, offering spectacle, drama, and technical quality, while also paving the way for WrestleDream and future events. 8/10."

The opening tag match was great and the TNT title was very good. I loved that opening segment with Young Bucks, it was hilarious and that transition from them outside of the casino to in the ring was perfect and well edited."

I'm cool with them being set up as the big bad going forward if the Death Riders are taking a lesser role. I'm also cool with the quick match making of Joe v Hangman. I thought the MJF program was built too quickly too, but Joe won and was a dope champion, If there's anyone I can believe to make a quick match believable, it's a former champ with his snarl and physical charisma; I know it's old news now, but he really is a great physical force in Twisted Metal. I like Stat in the main event and her projection from here; she's got the match with Toni and dangling threads with Marina, Harley, and especially Willow, so I'm looking forward to her reign."

[7.0] "Bucks gambling segment was nice but could be shorter. Their six man tag felt choreographed, especially early on, like a lot of multi men matches but was still a very fun match so no real complaints but I would've preferred Josh didn't take the pin. Jurassic express segment was expected but awkward (there needs to be an explanation for why Perry is feuding with the bucks now). Kenny's promo was even weirder. The tone of delivery and content was fine, but he worded so many things weirdly. Mixed feelings on the Andrade return. Genuinely surprising but i doubt the follow up will be great. Joining the DCF works for me because he's not going to cut promos. Also, Kenny not addressing Kyle putting him through the table is strange. The 6 year AEW recap package was genuinely moving. I'll definitely rewatch. Solid babyface promo from Briscoe referencing MJF and his TNT title chase. Fletcher v Orange was a nice match. The dynamic between these two was natural given the nature of their characters. Would've preferred if Kyle won a bit more clean but good to see they're proceeding with El Clon. I'm surprised he joined the DCF (not that I mind) but the visual effects when they all came out wasn't for me. Hopefully we can get to Briscoe v Fletcher. Excalibur was really stumbling over his words in the post match, when bringing up the recap of Omega being attacked. That was brutal (the stumbling not the attack). Relatively good promo from Mone and good segment from Harley as well, but you'd think she'd be teaming with Statlander. DR six man tag was fine but could've been shorter because some of the time given to it could've been used to execute this Joe v Page angle better. They were subtle in building tension during the match, I like the belt handover detail and the overall direction but the way things went after that was odd. The security came out before the situation even escalated (save the security for the go home show or something) and Joe should've just began cutting the promo airing his frustration right in the ring instead of separate backstage segments later on. Fine direction, weird execution. The Willow, JetSpeed & FTR segment would be fine in a vacuum but now I'm worried JetSpeed will drag Willow down because they never win a meaningful match. Also, where are Tommy Billington and Priest? JetSpeed needs to look good coming out of this but FTR just lost so my hopes aren't high smh. While the content of the Hangman promo was fine, he needs to stop coming off passionate all the time, it's always been odd (and phony) but it's getting ridiculous. It also means he pronounces some words in a weird way. Can this man not cut a relaxed promo? Great to see Toni and she plays into the tragedy of losing the title in her appearance and demeanor really well. Match was okay but any babyface going up against her isn't going to do well and I already think TayJay should be heels. Her segment on the title loss was the best we got at this point in the show, despite the annoying "what" chants. Will be interesting to see the 1 v 1. Brief but pretty solid promo here from Sammy, but especially Kingston. Great backstage promo by Joe, but again this should've been face to face, in the ring and Hangman should've been relaxed (to get over how unreasonable Joe is being). Swirl v GOA match should've been an even shorter squash match if they're building GOA. Also, aren't the swirl heels? Again, where are Tommy Billington and Adam Priest. Thought THS were introducing a new member for a second but great promo as usual from MVP setting up next weeks match. Stat Promo felt like she channeled some Harley energy which was interesting. I like their pairing more than most and I'm surprised they aren't teaming up for the women's tag division. I like Don Callis' stuff and I'm looking forward to the match they've setup here but they need to allow Takeshita and Okada do more mic work for crying out loud. Main Event was great. I like Shafir walking out in front of Yuta (that's the type of heel he should be). Shafir looked better than I expected and this match type fits everyone involved. This also helps build Stats character up more. Same with Yuta because he really played the right type of heel here by trying to suplex Stat into the tacks. Post Match face off with Stat and Toni was cool. Darby beating Yuta with the belt was satisfying and then came PAC & the rest of the DR which was an effective closing angle but again, the fact that PAC and Claudio's roles in the faction are interchangeable makes me think that the DR could've been constructed better or one of the 2 needs to differentiate their roles. Episode felt more important than last weeks but was also more of a mixed bag with both more positives and negatives."

"[8.0] Strong first half and main event. I expected more, for being honest, I miss AEW doing huge weekly specials with dream matches, I think this was the perfect event to do one of those, but it was still pretty good. Happy to see Andrade back, he is obviously way more fitting in AEW. The opener was great and Fletcher is still a beast, perfect run by now. The trios match felt pretty flat and it definetely shouldn't, but Hangman vs Joe is a good transition feud. Toni did a great promo that some people in the crowd tried to ruin, is good to see how a lot of others booed the people doing the "what? " bit. Really fun main event, every mixed tag match should be a tornado. Marina is crazy for taking the feet bump."

But besides that, this show did feel like an anniversary show in terms of there being multiple meaningful progressions and a big angle to finish it off. Darby feels like the most over babyface in the company right now and they have built to this I quit match with Mox very well."

Main event was my favorite match easily but OC/Fletcher was great, opening kenny six man tag was good spot fest that maybe went a few minutes too long. hangman/joe was a really effective start to a mini feud after a fun match. crowd and venue looked cool and they took full advantage of that in the main event. annoying what chants during toni's match the only negative. tay/toni and gates of agony/swirl were just okay. liked mercedes/harley tag team direction (and maybe kris vs. mercedes tease? ). liked andrade coming back, he's world class and only 35, don't mind giving him a last chance, especially with ospreay/swerve gone and kenny on his last year or two. hologram segment was a bit awkward and didn't hit. marina shafir is a trooper and looks more legit every time we see her in the ring. love how the death riders use the venue, makes it feel more grounded, less tv formulaic. Great video package for 6 years, great dynamite."

The main event was fantastic as well. I personally think this was Anna Jay's best performance, certainly of 2025 at least. Happy to see Arez(Clon) in AEW. Above all, WrestleDream is already shaping up to be another banger ppv for AEW. 10/10!"
