[8.0] "Didn't feel this card as much as some people clearly did. For me, a few too many of the matches, whilst enjoyable, are a little too predictable in their formulas. Also, there's just some flat out ridiculous things happening in the matches such as Hanan, who recently shrugged off a shoot headbutt from Hazuki and then squashed her, is now flopping all over the place for little AZM and barely able to hurt her. Another AZM match has some more scorn-worthy moments too with Saya going full on 'Shawn Michaels at Summerslam 2005' with some of her selling in their match. This all leads to these 2 matches being somewhat grating for me. However, being Stardom, there are also plenty of high quality things going on too such as Rina dragging Bea to her first enjoyable 5STAR match, the 2 Suzu matches and the choice to go with that particular final four. Also, to no surprise whatsoever, Sareee and Momo are fantastic even by their standards (and I am including Momo's earlier good match with Ami too). I also thought the placement of the Maishima/Hime/Kurogane/Furusawa match was really smart; it gave the star workers some more rest and showed that when organising the match order of the card you don't have to be such a slave to placing the matches simply according to who's working them and what their status within Stardom is (it also might have given Maishima/Hime/Kurogane/Furusawa more attention than they normally get as they tend to work when people are slowly filing in)."
[7.0] "A pretty good show in which nothing feels too long and the pace remains quite high, but that also stops the bigger matches from really standing out and feeling like they have more substance. It's essentially a card filled with the Stardom special 10-minute epics in which not one is able to really push forward and stand out as great. It's all very watchable and never boring (there are maybe two matches on the whole show which slow things down a bit but never too much) but the longest match with the most potential to stand out from the others is marred by sloppy interference spots. Still a solid show."
[10.0] "Fantastic show from top to bottom. It did a great job of hyping me up for the finale of this tournament. My favorite matches were momo/sareee and azm/saya."
[8.0] "One of those shows that you just say watch the whole thing, or at least all the tournament matches. Very high floor on this show, especially if egregious heel interference doesn't sour you. Match of the night us AZM v Saya Kamitani but AZM v Hanan and Anou v Suzuki are highly recommended too."
[9.0] "Great show. I'm still not the biggest fan of the 5STAR format with having such a big field and so many people advancing to the knockout stages, but this particular show was really strong and easily the best of the tournament. All of the first round matches were good, they each had something going for them, but none of them felt truly necessary. Suzu vs Bozilla (7/10), AZM vs Hanan (7.5/10), Momo vs Ami (7/10), Rina vs Bea (6.5/10). The rookie tag match in the middle of the show was a decent break in between the serious stuff. All of the quarterfinal matches were a step above the previous round, they all had that big match feel and each one delivered. The Sareee match once again had the most crowd investment as the outsider heel goes down in what could have been the best match of the show, if not the entire tournament, had the HATE shenanigans not been so ridiculous. I was very surprised by Rina beating Poi, it's by far the biggest upset and a big moment for Rina. Saori vs Suzu (8/10), AZM vs Saya (8/10), Momo vs Sareee (8/10), Rina vs Poi (8/10). While I don't think there was any one great match here, this was a consistently high quality show with some interesting results. Looking forward to the final day of the 5STAR. 9/10"
[9.0] "Yeah first stardom show i have ever watched after i saw it get high praise from mutuals on twitter and I'm so fucking glad i decided to watch it. When you give me 8 hard hitting fast paced matches where the lowest star rating i give is 3.5 add on the fact it is in a packed and loud as fuck Korakuen Hall your on for a winner of a show in my eyes and that is exactly what they did even the rookie showcase match was a fun 5 minutes. I had a great time watching this and it was nice to see wrestlers i have heard people i follow praise and see for my self why the praise is so well earned. The only thing stopping me from giving it the perfect score is i feel like it was lacking a match that was a 5 star match which is one of my requirements to give a show a perfect score. But overall it was still a banging show and introduced me to some amazing wrestlers i defiantly want to watch again"
[10.0] "A fantastic show full of great matches with a super hot crowd...what more could you ask for? This was always going to be a must watch due to the 5* implications but it's really a must watch due to the match quality."
[10.0] "Just a fantastic good show from top to bottom. It may not have the highest of highs or the dramatic peaks of other Stardom shows this year, but there isn't a bad match on the card and it is full of some star making performances by the younger talent on the roster like Rina. The ladies of Stardom put on their working boots and provided a banger of a show."
[9.0] "Fantastic show. All the 5star Grand Prix matches varied from being very good to great. With the standout matches being Azm Saya, Saori Suzuki, and Rina Natsupoi. Stardom good!"
[10.0] "One of the best shows of the year. Except the rookies tag and Bea/Rina, everything was at least "great" ie 3.75 and above. I dont think it peaks very high but having so many great matches on a single card in front of a out sold out korakuen hall easily justifies a show of the year contender spot. second best stardom show of the year."
[9.0] "This was a great show from top to bottom. Aside from the rookies match mid-show, no matches were under ***1/4. While the play-off matches were all good, the show really kicked into second gear when it was time for the Block Winner matches, all four matches were great to amazing. And cherry on the cake, pathes for the "After Tournament" shows were drawn. Very well booked, thought out, lay out show, combined with some great in-ring action."
[10.0] "The excitement and enthusiasm of the amazing Korakuen audience. There were eight title match-quality matches. And they were the perfect length of about 15 minutes, so there was no lull. This was a special event that only took place on this day of the year. The outcome of the matches could not be predicted in advance, so the ending was full of surprises and excitement. The quarterfinals are the most exciting, just as in other sports."
[10.0] "All the first round matches were good and all the quarterfinal matches were even better. The results were intriguing. Excellent crowd. None of the matches were absolutely legendary, but outside of that this could have hardly been a better show overall."
