[8.0] "Decent enough card, especially the stretch at the end, but misses that ooomph that turns a good card into a great one. Would definitely recommend a watch, but at the same time, it's not essential viewing by any means."

[5.0] "Another mediocre New Japan show devoid of any hint of excitement or momentum. The undercard was bad and the uppercard matches were middling. The main event slavishly follows the formula and conventions of the "New Japan epic" to a sedate crowd that barely responds to anything. It's kinda funny that bati-bati gets mentioned multiple times on the broadcast with some of the blandest, softest pseudo strong-style wrestling you could imagine. The only thing I got any substantial enjoyment out of was the Knockout Brothers. Yuto-Ice is at least trying to develop something."

There is a definite ceiling on NJPW at the moment though with none of the matches really blowing me away this show and I also felt this during the G1 Climax and I hope they can find that extra push from somewhere to get to the next level."

[8.0] "Very solid show overall, pretty much all the matches beyond the first three were all decent to great. The tag team match further established the knockout brothers from their excursion and them winning the belts certainly helped. Hiromu vs Ishimori was not nearly as good as matches they've had in the past but was still solid and the added Noah element was nice especially with a lot of the callbacks Taiji did. Finlay and Tsuji had another great showing and proved why they have some of the best chemistry between any of the guys on the roster currently. Gabe vs Shingo was hard hitting and brutal affair with some great spots on the outside and both guys performed well and probably was my MOTN. Zack vs Narita was actually a decent back and forth technical bout and while there was HOT interference it didn't completely overshadow the match and the work both had done. All in all a great show and helped build toward KOPW very well."

[6.0] "A solid showing from New Japan. Although the Tag Title and GHC Junior Title matches were disappointing and Oleg vs. Fale was just plain bad, a really good match between Tsuji and Finlay (probably their best singles match in my opinion) and an excellent bout between Kidd and Takagi more than made up for it."

[7.0] "Another NJPW show where it won't blow your socks off by any means but there was plenty there to sink your teeth into. There's reasonable depth on the roster but the highs aren't very high and the lows are pretty low (Fale in this instance). 7.5/10"

Maybe its the times we are in. Maybe its me. But even the momentum of guys like Tsuji and Kidd have waned. Sabre and Takagi feel like they are treading water. I hope for a momentum shift. However, this was the most mediocre show I can remember."

[8.0] "Just a really solid show across the board. Other than the inexplicable decision to put Don Fale in a title match in the year 2025, I have basically nothing to really complain about. Did I love the HoT interference in the main event? Not so much. Do I love that we're returning to Gabe-Tsuji for the Global title instead of setting up Tsuji to dethrone Takeshita? Maybe not. But all the action was good, they smashed over Oskar and Yuto Ice in the tag title match, Tsuji and Kidd got really strong showings, and Narita at least looks like a reliable upper card heel savage for the future even if he didn't win. There's a lot to like here, and very little to dislike."

Finlay and Tsuji are allergic to bad matches together, Kidd and Shingo had a fun hard hitting affair, and ZSJ vs Ren was amazing, even with the mandated minute of HOT interference."

[9.0] "The first three matches were a skip, however the five matches after were fucking awesome, hence why I rated this show so highly. A truly good show. Hontai vs H.O.T (**.25): Your regular multi man tag that focused on Desperado vs Douki and the newly formed tag team of Yuya/Shota. Tanahashi vs O-Khan (***): Nothing special. Just another stop on the road to Tanahashi's retirement (however I did like O-Khan's selling of the loss since it was a rollup). Boltin vs Fale (*.25): Just skip this. It was only to set up EVIL vs Boltin for KOPW. Hiromu vs Ishimori (****.25): Awesome fast paced match for the GHC Jr heavyweight title. A couple slip ups here and there, but ultimately turned out to be an extremely fun match. Eita attacking Hiromu afterwards was a nice little teaser to their match on the 11th for NOAH. Tsuji vs Finlay (****.25): Albeit repeated for the third time this year, this was good as always. Gabe vs Shingo (****.75): Amazing slugfest that had a great brawl, table spot and great sequences. Match of the night for me. ZSJ vs Narita (****.5): No usual House shenanigans = awesome match. Zack and Narita always have great chemistry together and this was a great main event. Suspenseful, technical and a fun watch."
