[6.0] "Well, overall, the episode was not bad. Opening segment give us a intresting future matches and Alexa with Charlotte continued doing the funniest things of the show, but everything else is either 50/50. Women's division is interesting only because of the tag team titles (what parallel reality do we live in? ), the men's tag team division got some airtime today plus a promo from the champions. Well, at least everything is fine with the US Championship now and I'm happy with Sami Zayn as the next contender. Although I still have the impression that this issue gave us only a little, and almost no significant steps were taken."

The promo at the beginning of the show was quite unconvincing, the other segments outside of the match were quite nice. I would remember from this show that it had great potential, but that it was ultimately poorly exploited."

Only redeeming quality was Aleisters promo, and Carmelo getting TV time (even if it's just a backstage thing) other than that, this show was pretty much exclusively garbage. And while I'm happy Cena's face, this whole turn has been awkward, and the best they've got for him is piss kink man, and mr Severe and Continuously ass."

"[8.0] Pretty solid smackdown, it was good to see John Cena in action as a baby face again for the main event, Charlotte Flair Vs Chelsea Green was hilarious, I loved Chelsea going into the cake, mot sure why they'd have Sami Zayn pin the US championship in a non title match, I dont think non title matches should exist."

[2.0] "So i had heard about how bad Smackdown has been this year and i had nothing better to do at the time it was on so i thought might as well see what its about i have never regretted a decision more in my life. This was easily the worst bit of wrestling TV i have watched in a very long time. The matches were all pretty pointless and dull. The opening segment is the only thing saving this from being a 1 as i thought it was decent and set up a main event i thought might be decent (i was wrong) also Cena teaming with Cosy makes zero sense when they had been feuding since February till last week. it has also set up a terrible feud that wastes more of Cena's remaining dates this year against Logan Paul (just why). The rest of the storytelling on the show was pretty shit. Case in point how R-Truth is now back to being a joke character again. Overall a big waste of two hours and i guess i now know why people have been saying. It was so bad."

[5.0] "Show had a mid 2010s vibe to it with multiple comedy spots and fine wrestling but nothing spectacular. Starts with a classic Cena promo. Seeing the MCMG squashed was not fun. Sami Zayn was a good surprise for the Montreal crowd and had the best match of the night. From their you get into the more comical Bliss/Flair/Green segment and match plus the Cena and Truth interaction backstage. Main event was fine and sets up two feuds for Clash at Paris, Cena vs Paul which will be a fine match and get a lot of mainstream attention. Drew vs Cody should be a good feud for both men."

[6.0] "Ok here goes. 6 is listed on this site as "satisfactory." This episode was the definition of satisfactory. While the matchups and moves might have been lacking, the story made up for it. JC Mateo continues to stink, but Talla Tonga finally getting some actual ring time made up for it. The MCMGs, fresh off SummerSlam, did their best to elivate their game as well. I appreciate how they're becoming more comfortable on the mic. Chelsea vs Charlotte was also "SATISFACTORY." Chelsea got her face smashed in a cake - sounds good to me! (I love her btw...). Solo vs Sami - well....it couldn't have been any worse than Solo's cage match from SummerSlam - so once again...."SATISFACTORY." But the absolute highlight was the return on John Cena's entrance theme. It got the people going and that, in my most humble of opinions, was awesome. And I don't care what the oldheads say, Logan Paul is a beast. He can do it all. And the fact that he gets under everyone's skin is incredible. He's working y'all over. And last but not least, the best part of the show was when we finally got (comical) R-TRUTH BACK, BABY. As an aside...I wish Smackdown was still 3 hours long..."

"1) OMG, that John Cena's promo reminded me why we chant "John Cena sucks". It was so sweet, it made me nauseous, and I almost puked my breakfast out. He's just too pretentious, too over the top. I already miss heel John Cena. 2) Why did Aleister Black wear glasses in that pre-taped promo? It didn't suit the aesthetics of his character at all, yet the only reason he wore them was the aesthetics. How do I know? Because the glasses were fake - there were no diopters in them. How do I know? Because I know where to look, dumbass. Because I would like to wear glasses in everyday life - I believe they make my face more attractive - but my eyesight is too damn good for that kind of shit, so I was thinking about rocking fake ones, but then I learned how to easily spot a poser (like me) from someone who really has poor eyesight and I gave up on that idea - the posers are just too easy to identify, so you better believe me when I say that Aleister Black wearing that stupid glasses makes him a poser. 3) Finally, Drew McIntyre is back in the World Title picture! I have no idea what the American Nightmare has to offer against the wrath of the Scottish Warrior. But hey, he somehow managed to survive Brock Lesnar, right? Btw, what did Cody do wrong that Drew attacked him like that? I mean, their relationship went from 0 to 100 really quickly."

[2.0] "I have had to pinch my nose a lot with the way WWE have handled themselves, especially over the last month and after shows like this I'm finding that increasingly harder to do. Almost every single time the WWE leaves the US you can guarantee an awful show with an exceptional crowd and that's what they gave us here. Awful matches with no heat and no quality boringly drizzled between generic and worthless promos and even worse backstage 'banter' between the increasingly vanilla cast of wrestlers. John Cena's baby face promos are just as unbelievable and unbearable as his heel promos. Fifteen minutes were used for that and featured the over scripted and inane ramblings of the talentless and unlikable Logan Paul. I hated that segment. The Miz made his return to further destroy the career of Carmelo. Man this show sucked. The only highlight and I do mean only highlight, was Drew McIntyre kicking Cody Rhodes through the base of the announce table. That was done brilliantly and looked incredible. The difference in quality between Drew/Cody and the rest of the roster is staggering. But four seconds of enjoyable content in a two hour show is a disgrace."

"I'm not gonna call this a straight 0/10, but prolly a 3 or 4. It has that vibe of a 'could've been an e-mail' show that a lotta HHH-era shows have suffered from recently, with no real big segments aside from Cena vs Logan being confirmed and Drew vs Cody being teased, and maybe there being a Charly to coincide with Lily. I'm gonna assume Cena's going against Paul coz they couldn't get Brock scheduled for Paris, or they're waiting for that outrage over Brock's return to die down, or it's Brock back to never showing up, god knows. Hopefully they cook with this current feud. Sami being there kinda felt like was there for a cheap pop from the Montreal crowd, coz I dunno where he'd fit in on SD assuming they shadow-drafted him, maybe he's gonna win the US title to give it a break from the MFT vortex. No clue what's next for Jacob since he sadly wasn't on the show. There was nothing truly horrific on the show but it was mostly a lotta nothin'. I feel like SD would benefit from the Netflix treatment where it's a variable 2 1/2 hours with exclusive stuff in adbreaks, giving room for more talent on the show, none of that DOOT DOOT DOOT nonsense."

[3.0] "I pretend to believe that they aren't on purposlly making the show horrible because my goodness what the hell is even SmackDown as of the recent two month it has been super unwatchable and disgusting television as they don't even highlight the young talent. I have nothing much to say but this show needs a major reset the WWE Draft in September needs to save this show bring heavy-hitters and workhorses and that can revivalize this show. It's so lifeless and not fun to watch whatsoever anymore, and I don't remember the last time a SmackDown Episode was so enjoyable. There were probably two episodes that were this year. John Cena is wasting his time with Logan Paul, Motor City Machine Guns lost to The MFTs, Carmelo Hayes is relegated to Backstage Segments with The Miz, and where are Giulia and Tiffany Stratton? Just horrendous television with no major story and no major interest to watch SmackDown every week."

[0.0] "Abysmal show. None of the matches were even close to being just fine. The promos and segments made no sense (or forgot basic storytelling that happened just last week). Plus commentary trying to force feed wanted reactions. Falling into cake is not (that) funny and someone crumbling through a flimsy wooden wall is not (that) shockingly brutal."

[4.0] "Another mediocre Smackdown. Since switching to two hours, SD has been stuck in mediocrity. Cena's promo was uninteresting and long. Instead of building up Cena/Lesnar, we have John playing the babyface and pandering to the crowd. Why do Cena/Paul? Lesnar/Cena would have made more sense. The first match wasn't too bad. Obviously, it's not as good as what the tag team division offers us, but it was decent. MCMG is always good. Having MFT win clean is great, but it won't change the fact that Solo's clan is uninteresting. Solo doesn't need a clan; he has more than enough ability to go solo. Zayn/Solo was okay too, but nothing more. Alexa/Flair, the segment was pretty nice, consistent with their dynamic, but Flair/Green was much less enjoyable. The Wyatt Sicks video was very cool. The backstage segment between DIY and the Streets Profits was cool too. The Cena/Truth segment confirms what I said at MITB: his return is pointless. Yet his promo on RAW after MITB had me hyped, but since his horrible match against Cena, he's done nothing. In one week, they killed Ron Killings' run and Cena's heel run. ABSOLUTE DOGSHIT. Cargill/Giulia for the US title, I say yes. It's much better for Cargill, who isn't ready for the top of the card yet. The ME was very average. The DQ was rubbish, but the post-match gave me hope for Drew. Finally, we're going to get Drew/Cody. Drew's claymore on the table is very impressive. There is a lot to discuss between the two of you, so please do not waste this opportunity."

[3.0] "Cena turned face and is now teaming with Cody like nothing happened. That's bad writing and booking. This whole heel run was a waste. Lesnar returned at Summerslam but instead Cena has Logan Paul to deal with. At least Cenas opening promo was solid. Charlotte versus Chelsea wasn't good. The match quality was on a low level. Not a good show besides some few parts."
