[4.0] "The June 7th, 1999 edition of WCW Monday NITRO ends up being one of the better Nitros around this time but still pretty bare bones and forgettable. We have yet to see a decent Nitro since APRIL! We do have some highlights like The Four Horseman stuff, Flair turning on Benoit, Arn ripping his shirt and wanting to get the tag in, The Mexican Deathmatch in general. I know this was the episode with the "White Hummer" incident where it went nowhere but at the time this was somewhat average but intriguing so it was good TV [at the time! ] We also get some poorly booked shtick like Bischoff making Hak look stupid, A lot of B-C show wrestlers in matches to fill the show, The main event angle focusing on poop. The Cat vs. nWo storyline in general and another terrible Nitro main event. The 3 hour timeslot doesn't really help the show at all, so much filler and so much Nitro girls. Overall, a flawed show that had some great stuff but the bad overtakes it. [**1/4]"

[4.0] "So incredibly boring with the bad matches completely countering all the good ones, rest of the matches were subpar. C level show card, if guys like Lenny Lane, Iaukea, Duncum, Riggs and Horace are on Nitro, who's working Thunder? Kevin Nash's limo gets hit by a truck. Buff had a good promo and match however. Short and obvious DQ main event with Sting and Macho, these Nitros are on such a terrible streak. Only real note, Saturn and Benoit tag champs?"

[2.0] "This was a very long and drawn out Nitro episode outside of the tag title match and the lucha hardcore match. The most notable part of the whole show was a contortionist coming out of a bag to dump sewage on Randy Savage, and unintentionally leaving everybody else to wrestle on the stain it left for the rest of the night. The main event storyline is about sewage..."

[2.0] "The Good: There is a beautiful, entirely unexpected, fantastically fun lucha libre furniture brawl in the middle of the card. The tag title match was fun despite being completely nonsense from a booking perspective. The Rap is Crap storyline is starting well and Mysterio had a fun little match with Duncum. The Bad: Good god, where do I start? Not just one but two all time stupid WCW segments tonight. First, Nash hires a contortionist (I guess? ) as part of an elaborate plan to dump a bucket of literal poop on Randy Savage's head. This crap smears all over the ring by the way, so for most of the show everyone gets to wrestle on a giant poop stain. Great metaphor for your company, WCW. Then, Nash goes to the parking lot and is hit by the infamous WHITE HUMMER, a stupid who-dunnit mystery that will never be answered and reeks of desperation in a company that is now getting killed in the ratings. What else? Eric Bischoff slaps around Sandman for no reason, the seeds of the "gay" storyline between Lane and Lodi are planted, the Cat continues to get a push, we have to suffer through a match of "who deserves it least" as Disco and Bagwell both get lots of attention, and the main event is a no finish nothing-fest between a meh Sting and a totally washed up Savage. WCW is truly and badly into their decline, even compared to a few months prior."
