[2.0] "This was a terrible way to sell your PPV, which was arguably the biggest one in WCW history. Everything was fine until the nWo came out and tore down the set. Then, we spend 20 minutes watching them redecorate while the crowd goes to sleep. I just hate this episode so much."

[3.0] "An atrocious go home episode before their biggest show ever (which also failed). Some good matches in the first hour, but the wheels fell off in the second hour, badly, with bad matches and stuff like Buff beating Jericho. No wonder why he went to the WWF in a year and a half..."

[2.0] "Solid first few matches, the entire like first 30 to 45 minutes was solid. Then, NWO took over. 20 minutes of the B Team ripping down WCW stuff off the stage and hanging up their own. Which was pretty cool, and all the NWO guys were good at bossing guys around. Then Hogan comes out and they dick ride him as usual and give him some gifts. Pretty solid, and we get Rude, Bischoff and Nash on commentary! What could go wrong! A series of the most underwhelming uninspiring wrestling and commentary you'll ever see. It's so bad, and every angle got COOKED. Fuck this show, worst Nitro so far. Granted, I can't imagine this is the lowest Nitro goes. Bischoff will also earn not only an MVP for his good performances (granted given the many chances, and won LVP for being in every NWO angle, WHICH SUCKED."

[5.0] "Only watch this show for Fit Finlay vs Eddie Guerrero, 6 man lucha tag, Harlem Heat vs Raven's Flock which is the biggest suprise, Randy Savage vs Luger. Out of all the episodes leading to Starrcade this was the weakest despite being the last Nitro before the big event."

[9.0] "The final episode before the big Starrcade... very interesting show with the nWo completely taking over, complete with a new intro and a different set, which took a bit long to setup but was still a cool idea. Great final build to the biggest show of the year and some good matches too, particularly the lucha six man."
