[6.0] "Plenty of decent stuff here on a solid show. Zilla vs Blake was the pick of the bunch for me, with the main event and McCoy vs Janela also really good matches. Crowd was excellent throughout the show"

[7.0] "Enjoyable show from GCW here. At a little over 3 hours, the show moved rather well. Zilla/Christian ended up my match of the night. The 1-2 punch of a double pin and a dq in Sidney/Ali and Bayne/Yamashita was underwhelming despite both being enjoyable matches prior to the ending. Griffin/Janela felt like it may have been better served as the opening match in an enjoyable match early. Main event was good although maybe a bit long. Entertaining show with a bit of variety throughout."

[7.0] "My first GCW show, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, most of the wrestling was very good, as were the production values. As a casual fan, I appreciated the video packages recapping previous shows that affect current angles. There was also a lot of diversity. This is where a lot of indies fail. They try to emulate ECW but only focus on the extreme rules matches and not on the other things ECW did well like lucha libre and technical wrestling. For the negatives, the dialogue was so bland and repetitive. Just F you, we love Chicago, rinse and repeat. The card order was a little weird with a so-so opener, although the crowd was hot for it. I would have rather seen Joey Janela or the non-title tag match go on first. They also had the double pin back-to-back with the no contest womens match. I did not quite follow why Jimmy Lloyd (? ) interfered in two separate, seemingly unrelated matches. Maybe that was explained on commentary? Also Ciclope no-selling a destroyer through a door was AWFUL. More than telling the fans that Ciclope is really tough, it told us that wrestling is fake and none of it hurts and none of it matters and they will keep doing big spots just like it because you stupid rubes lap it up. No-selling can work when it is the right spot and right character, but Ciclope and a move that should end a match is not it. It was like the Lio Rush spot in CZW that was so divisive and just undermined what everyone else was trying to build."
