[6.0] "the opener was by far the highlight of the show, great work from both of them here, strong on commentary was also really entertaining. i loved this moxley and claudio promo next setting up moxley's match at the ppv. then there was just a bunch of matches to set up more matches no one cares about, it was great to see Johnny on TV though, no pun intended, all of these matches felt so unimportant. decent match by cassidy but the feud is just not it, feels like it's being dragged. good segment then with pac and bcg but commentary made it confusing. Serena Deeb was decent here but overall a messy match and then the closing angle with toni was a bit strange, not very entertaining for me. thought the next part of the show was pretty good though with the patriarchy segment backstage and then the match, although jack is still young and just very flippy, he takes a helllll of a bump on the outside, the ending was also great. the main event was just average as well. disappointing episode"

[6.0] "Great start to the episode with the best wrestler in the world Will Osprey earning a victory, followed by a Hook win. Then in the middle of the episode I get Shibata & Orange getting put over and shoved down my throat, alongside an unrealistic loss by Boulder. Much better ending to the episode with Anna Jay and Serena Deeb, as well as FTR & Lance Archer in the main event."

[7.0] "This episode was disappointing by AEW standards. The wrestling was good, as always, but nothing on the show felt like it mattered. Will Osprey vs. Shane Taylor was the match of the night, and the closest thing to a consequential match on the show, but we all knew that Osprey wasn't losing heading into his match with Strong at Double or Nothing. Hook then squashed Johnny TV to kick of the FTW Contender Series of inconsequential matches leading to an outcome we already know. Matches where the outcome isn't in doubt are not necessarily a bad thing as shown by the second FTW Contenders Series match between Katsuyori Shibata and Rocky Romero, which was still quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, it's the only one that got any time, as the match between Bryan Keith and Boulder lasted all of two and a half minutes. Orange Cassidy had a fine match with Isiah Kassidy, but it probably should have been Trent Barretta in there, since he need the build much more than multiple-time former champion Orange does. Serena Deeb vs. Anna Jay was fine, but Jay is still limited, so it left something to be desired. Nick Wayne squashed Jack Cartwheel, which was disappointing because those two could have probably had a pretty good match if given time. Finally, Bryan Danielson and FTR took on Lance Archer and the Righteous in a very enjoyable match."

[6.0] "This is a bit infuriating because the talent on the show almost makes up for it but the booking here is so lifeless and boring. The opener is very good, Shibata/Romero is good, the main event is solid and even the Cassidy and Deeb matches are fine, but every match and their rating suffers from an overall irrelevancy of this show. This show is for people that do not know what to do with their day and just want to see a bunch of 3-4 star matches that just fill TV time, do not have any excitement or storyline purpose and are completely predictable."

[8.0] "Very strange ratings on this show. 4 good matches in a two hour television show should yield a very good number, much higher than listed here. The only negatives I could really come up with is the small crowd, which did lead to less energy for a taped show, and the lighting was very dark as a result, which does not look very good on television. There also didnt seem to be many major storyline advancements, outside of the appearance by Garcia at the end and the FTW qualifiers. There was no killer match that you have to go out of your way to see but the quality of wrestling throughout 2 hours was still very strong."

[7.0] "It was a taping so automatically felt unimportant, but the wrestling was at least good. Lot of submission wins in this 3 hours pack with Hook, Shibata, Deebs and Kyle O'Reiley. Will Ospreay once again come off as a big deal, and another very good match on his list with a motivated Shane Taylor. The main event is the classic Collision big tag match, it was cool, what I really like is that almost all the heel seems to be motivated by being paid by The Elite, so it makes faces choosing the "AEW" sides more important, like Daniel Garcia this night. The only thing I felt wasn't needed is the Orange Cassidy vs Isiah match, just make a Trent segment and another women's match instead. Rampage was good too with KOR vs Lee Morarty, Rush in a good squash and Bowens vs Brian Cage."

[4.0] "This was basically a two-hour Rampage episode (followed by another hour of Rampage). A card full of squash matches and obvious results and nothing which really feels like required viewing. This episode feels like a dip in quality compared to recent weeks and I can only hope it's because they're saving something for PPV week."

[7.0] "Wow, wasn't expecting the harsh ratings here, this was actually a cool show, a lot of matches, and at least three or four very decent ones. I understand that the Bryan Keith squash was freaking terrible, one of the worst things ever, but it lasted 1 minute, at least Wayne vs Cartwheel was fun (thank god it was a squash). Not the perfect show but I had a good time."

[5.0] "Well, this may be my least favourite episode of Collision so far. The opener was solid and Shane Taylor continues to impress every time he gets the chance. This FTW tournament on the other hand is awful. It has done nothing for the participants so far and Ill be glad once it is done. 2/3 matches were poor, but at least Shibata and Romero could deliver a good professional match. Now onto the undisputed and undeniably worst part of the night. OC vs Isiah. The fact these two are getting TV time at all, let alone so much of it is CRIMINAL. The feud between OC and Trent is just awful. There is no heat and the matches are bang average. Every time they appear the crowd zones out and the ratings start dropping. In the meantime wrestlers who could get over with a quarter of the time OC is taking up are forced to watch or job. The experiment has failed and its time to let it go. Deeb and Anna Jay put on a really solid match and the angle afterwards I guess pushes things on? Either way, Im looking forward to Storm Vs Deeb immensely. Nick Wayne vs Jack Cartwheel was ridiculous. Nick is just not getting over doing things like this. The match was disjointed and pointless. Luckily is was also short. Thankfully, now the main event started. This match saved the show. It was extremely well put together and performed by all involved. Nothing ridiculous or over the top, just the right length for a TV match and got the angle over at the end. What more could you want? FTR also got the win with their cool back suplex to set up the Shatter machine. All in all a good natch and Daniel Garcia got a run out as well. I wish he got more matches. The backstage work by PAC was also good. The Bang Bang Gangs entrance was inspired. Easily one of the highlights while being short and simple. Inspired really. The episode in general was far from the best. The main event and Ospreay carried the show. Not one for the highlight real and Im not looking forward to the paired Rampage judging by this show."

[2.0] "The matches were alright except for the Serena Deeb/Anna Jay match but it just felt so heatless. This is not a secondary show, it's just filler and considering how much promise Rampage had when it started, it's so disappointing what it has become already."

[5.0] "Some good matches on this show, but way too many filler squash matches for my tastes. This FTW title contender series could be something much more as well, but it's hard to care when only one of the matches went over five minutes. [MOTN: Shane Taylor vs. Will Ospreay]"

[7.0] "I dunno, the vibes are off. Maybe it was the pre-tape, maybe it was the loading of all the star power on Dynamite ahead of Double or Nothing but it did feel like it was just two hours of spinning plates because they have to do something with the timeslot. You'd think they would've done that last week when some of their talent were over doing Resurgence, but not this week. There wasn't anything bad tonight, but there wasn't anything that really captures the imagination either. Normally I'd rate something with consistency like tonight higher, because a consistent show is hard to find, but even the consistency bonus only gets it to a 7, and a weak 7 at that."

[5.0] "An episode that felt like an episode of Dark or Dark Elevation on TV in some solid but very predictable matches that felt like padding wins for most of the main names on the PPV as well as setting up Bryan Keith to be the fall guy Wednesday in the FTW triple threat (which for some reason was a harder title shot to acquire than the AEW World title shot at the PPV even if the Bucks did give that to Christian.)"

That was awful 3- I love Rocky but you have some talents that can give better momentum as he lost too much lately and that affected a little bit"

[5.0] "All filler. Nothing truly bad, nothing truly stands out. MOTN was Shibata/Azucar, a sound technical match closely followed by the main event, which was your generic but this time not as lengthy chaotic collision main event. Deeb vs. Jay was okay, though at this point I must admit watching Deeb as a face doesn't hit the right notes. Her five-minute challenges were far more interesting. OC vs. Zay was interestingly bland as they tried to build up the match on the angle of Trent's feud with OC. Not hyped at all. Ospreay/Taylor was another 'mid' match that handed Ospreay another free W. Taylor's work rate is fine, but he's more tumbling than rumbling. As an enhancement talent, he gets the job done. Roderick vs. Ospreay, on the other hand, is just there to be there; they can only redeem that match by wrestling like gods, which is what I hope for. The FTW Qualifier series was simply unnecessary. It involved two squashes, one of them against Johnny TV, kinda criminal. Then you get Nick Wayne against Jack Cartwheel. Three squashes in one night. It gives more TV time to everyone, but I wonder what cramming all these matches in achieves. Cartwheel does everything you'd expect from a guy named Cartwheel-- he has incredible body control, but that's it. He lacks everything else, even as a jobber. Backstage interviews & promos were solid as usual, headlined by Mox&Claudio."

Shane/Ospreay (***3/4), Romero/Shibata (***1/2), Archer/The Righteous vs. Danielson/FTR (***1/2). Again, nothing that is must watch, but some solid pro wrestling on a Saturday night."

[6.0] "A few too many matches on Collision this week, and being a taped show didn't help. A good chunk was spent on the FTW Championship contender series, with Hook and Bryan Keith winning quickly. The rest was small build towards Dynamite and Double or Nothing next week, nothing truly standout though."

[6.0] "This episode of AEW Collision was about the same as last week's in which a decent amount of segments and matches happened and most of it were one-sided predictable affairs with a good main event and some nice segments sprinkled in. I'm excited for Moxley vs. Takeshita that seems pretty damn good and Cassidy and Beretta but everything else on this show was just meh. 6/10"

[5.0] "What a boring episode full of predictable 1 sided matches against jobbers while Tony Khan has stars sitting at home twiddling their thumbs. AEW Collision is clearly an afterthought to Tony Khan just like AEW Rampage. Its super disappointing that all they care about is Dynamite. There is no excuse for this card, youre telling me they couldnt cut one match and give the 3 minutes to someone like Ricky Starks (who people want to see) to start a storyline instead of HOOK in a contender match for a pointless title nobody actually cares for?"
