[5.0] "This episode was way too long (15 matches! ) and unfortunately none of the matches really stood out as excellent. There were quite a few decent to good matches (the four corner survival being probably the standout match, though this was not as good as the usual standout match on ROH TV). Many squashes as well and the only good story stuff were a couple skits with Nyla and with Dalton/Johnny TV. Not great."

[6.0] "Ohhhh, NOW I remember this ROH TV episode. This was the lengthy episode where it went 30-40 minutes longer than I wanted and/or I expected to that night. I remember being PISSED OFF that the ROH site told me that the episode would last from 7:00 through 8:42 PM EST; yet it didn't end until 9:12 PM EST. NO WONDER this show got a really low overall rating! Anyway, I understand the criticism for this episode being long, and having plenty of filler (more than usual). However, I STILL don't think the episode was necessarily bad. There were still pretty solid matches like Anthony Henry vs Action Andretti, Slim J vs JD Drake vs Josh Woods vs Rocky Romero, and even Cole Karter/Griff Garrison vs Spanish Announce Project on this long show. However, yea, the unnecessary length and the padded filler is DEFINITELY going to bring down the overall score for me too here. I'll give this show a 6/10 as a result. If this show was like 30+ minutes shorter, and you still KEPT those 3 matches that I previously mentioned; then I would've gone with a 7/10. It'll remain a 6 though for this week."

They [the matches] weren't bad, they just had no legs to stand on. MOTN? Don't know if there was one."

[2.0] "When you watch ROH on Honor Club, you get to see a lot of wrestling. I mean, look at this card. None of the matches are particularly good or worth keeping much of an eye on, but there were sure a lot of them. Zak Knight vs Aaron Solo was the best match and I'm excited to see what Knight ends up doing in 2024 but for the last several weeks he's just put on solid matches without being involved in any storylines or feuds. And that's basically what ROH is. Nyla Rose progressed her feud with the still-absent Athena by powerbombing a cameraman through a table and declaring dominance over Billie, Lexi, and the rest of the minions. Johnny TV and Dalton Castle continued to build their feud backstage. These guys have always had a fun dynamic backstage but their feud has been building since like two weeks before Final Battle and they still haven't fought. To make things worse they are ostensibly feuding over the TV championship, but are feuding parallel to the TV championship, not interacting with Kyle Fletcher at all. Meanwhile Fletcher has been on Honor Club most every week defending his championship randomly (they have been good matches, but absolutely no build and no expectation that Fletcher would drop the belt to any of them). I really don't mind ROH belts existing in the AEW TV ecosystem and being held by AEW guys but the fact that the only championship that ROH talent are able to construct feuds around on their own show is the ROH Women's championship is kind of insane. Fletcher's not doing too much on AEW TV recently so why not have him actually developing feuds with ROH guys? It has been nice to see some champs on Honor Club defending their belts but you just know that they're never going to lose so it kinda feels like what even is the point? Why not just shoot a promo looking for a challenger and have ROH talent fight for a match? It's not hard to turn that into a minor storyline that can have a satisfying payoff and wrap itself up in 3 weeks. And when are the women going to actually start challenging for the Women's TV title? It's been announced for a while and we have a good idea of who the challengers are (with Abbadon showing up a few times now, safe to say she will probably be the one to take it so they can parade the belt on AEW TV) but they have not started a tournament or anything to determine who the inaugural champ will be. This was a bloated card but it wasn't even terrible - every match was OK and there were 2 or 3 pretty decent ones - but Tony Khan is not doing a lot in 2024 to make ROH a must-watch subscription service. If you like watching peripheral AEW talent in banal action, then this show is for you. I believe that ROH can see success under Tony Khan and as an AEW program, but he has a lot of work to do if this is to become must-watch wrestling. And TK if you're reading this please let me pitch some ideas to you - there is too much talent in ROH for it to yield such a missable weekly program"
